Situated directly on the famous Puerto Pollensa Pine Walk, the exterior of Casa Faro boasts a covered stone arched terrace with calming sea views. Enjoy the fully furnished terrace with direct access out onto the sea front. Inside the property there are four air conditioned bedrooms including master double bedroom at the front of the property which has picture windows overlooking the Pine Walk. Each of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (three shower rooms and a complete bathroom from the master bedroom). The air conditioned lounge/dining room is comfortably furnished and has views out to the terrace and sea. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the front terrace which is fully furnished with table and chairs as well as an additional seating area. The fitted kitchen leads off from the dining area and comes complete with oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washing machine located in a laundry for your convenience. WIFI included

Unbeatable location

We had a great stay at the apartment, the outside space backing onto the pinewalk is beautiful. We were keen to cook some nights and did find it unusual that items like oil, salt etc weren't already in the kitchen. Basic kitchen utensils were available for simple meals but we would have struggled cooking for more people or anything more than a basic meal / snack. We made some suggestions for a couple of things to make preparing food and cooking easier. All in all we had a great stay and would stay again this apartment for the view alone.

Below expectations

Pros In a good position on the pinewalk - with a great view. Cons During the stay(2 weeks)there was a persistant damp smelll throughout the apartment. An automatic air freshner was in operation all the time- to no avail. The property manager said this was due to the wind !! The damp patches around the house had been painted over badly. This was apparent as the wall paint is blistering in numerous places. In some places peeling off revealing mould. Privacy - you have none - sitting out on the patio, you are in the constant glare of the public passing on the pinewalk. Some people actually stopping and staring in !! Some low level screening would stop this - as other properties have done. The property is tired and in need of refreshing. Numerous minor repairs are required throughout the property . Not least the patio umbrella- this is torn and broken. Pest control- be prepared for ants and cockroaches. All in all a nice visit to Pollensa , unfortunately the apartment fell well short of expectations considering the cost (almost 6k) - poor value for money.

We are very sorry to learn that there were aspects of the property that did not meet your expectations and happy that you enjoyed your overall stay in Pollensa. Unfortunately, we received only one message from you during the second week of your stay, and the points that you mention here (except for relating a damp smell) were not raised. We would have really appreciated to hear from you at the start your stay, if there were any repairs that needed carrying out. For example, the umbrella, could have been replaced the same day. Unfortunately, on the day of your message we were experiencing high levels of humidity in Puerto Pollensa and our property manager offered you an immediate solution. Every room in the property has a dehumidifier function on the air conditioning units. We find this helps a great deal during humid times and we are sorry you did not find this too. The modern units have been checked and are in very good working order for both the cool air and as de-humidifiers. As you mention at the start of your review, the position and view are stunning and for this reason we do not feel that it is appropriate to add screening which would limit this view. We do have bushes and plants at both sides of the garden which provide ample privacy from the neighbours. We really appreciate your feedback and will strive to make improvements for future guests.

Immer wieder begeistert von dieser traumhaften Bucht!

Die Wohnung ist geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit 4 Schlafzimmern mit je eigenem Bad sehr comfortabel. Die Küche hat alles, was man braucht und die Terrasse und der kleine Vorgarten sind gemütlich ausgestattet und schön gestaltet. Absolutes Highlight: kein Autoverkehr vor dem Haus sondern nur die rustikale Promenade direkt am Meerufer. Durch das Gartentor ist man mit 10 Schritten im Meer! Und das ist bis Oktober warm und quallenfrei.

Great Holiday

This is a wonderful apartment in a lovely setting in a quiet area. The photographs show how close to the water it is and they don't lie. There are four bedrooms and four shower rooms (3 en-suite). We were there as two couples so we had so much room. Sitting on the patio at night is wonderful as it is so quiet and peaceful. The place itself is easy to find and, while quiet, it is still within easy walk of the restaurants and bars. Pascual was helpful when I needed information pre arrival although we had no need of him during the holiday as everything we needed was there. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
