We had a wonderful time in South Africa. The house is located in a very quiet area and we had no problems with the neighbors. We didn't hear a sound from the tenant in the apartment above us for the entire three weeks. A big thank you goes to our neighbor Christine, who was responsible for our well-being and the garden. She was always there to answer any questions we had. Thanks also to Regina, who was responsible for keeping the house clean. We had a good rapport with Chris via email, so a big thank you to him too.The house, or rather the ground floor apartment, is getting on a bit and has developed a patina in some places. The floors have been redone, but further renovations are certainly planned. However, it is very comfortable and everything works perfectly (as long as you don't forget to order electricity ;-) ). The pool would be inviting for swimming if the water weren't so cold, but it will certainly be a highlight during the summer. For us as a couple, the house was the right choice.PS: To any future tenants, please take care of the items provided. Once again, we had to buy three pans because the existing ones were completely scratched and unusable. So remember, you are only there as tenants. Thank you very much.
