A first-floor apartment for 4 people, in an elegant residence in the hills above Menaggio. It offers stunning views over Lake Como and makes an ideal base from which to explore the lake and beautiful countryside nearby.

The apartment’s contemporary décor makes it a stylish and comfortable retreat. The sunny, open-plan living area, is furnished with a sofa and flatscreen TV. The dining table with 4 chairs is next to the kitchen, which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. Large glass doors lead from the living room to a private balcony with a panoramic view over Lake Como. The table and chairs allow guests to relax and enjoy the scenery with a cup of coffee or an aperitif.

Open stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom.

Location
The elegant residence is in a quiet location, just a 20-minute walk (5-minute drive) from the lake shore. The town of Menaggio (7 minutes) is charming and not as busy as some of the other towns on the lake. It has a lovely square with a wide choice of cafés, restaurants and shops. Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

The apartment is close to many restaurants and other amenities. There is even a restaurant/pizzeria on the ground floor of the building for lunch, dinner or takeaway. For guests who want to cook for themselves, Menaggio’s farmers market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find the best local ingredients.

Lake Como Adventures (20-minute drive), offers a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. For something more relaxing, there is the Lido Menaggio (8 minutes) where for a fee visitors can enjoy swimming in the lake, or the swimming pool and sunbathe on one of the loungers.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 50 minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 40 minutes away.
