Originally from the Peak District, I now live in a Farmhouse next door to Barncroft with my husband and two of our children. We love animals having our own free roaming hens and two dogs. As well as running Barncroft holiday cottage, I am a professional dog walker. When I am not surrounded by animals I love to perform in the local Amateur dramatic group and can often be found 'treading' the boards at our local theatre.

The Lake District is such a beautiful place to live where you can feel like you are going back to nature. You have Fells, Lakes and the coast all within a 25 minute drive.

Barncroft is a renovated barn and has everything anyone would want in a holiday cottage. Unlike many cottages it is spacious, light and modern but still retains cottage character with sloping ceilings and beams.
We not only welcome dogs but we offer the additional service of looking after your dog so that you can enjoy dog free days and still know your dog is being catered for.
