The Dairy is one of seven properties set in the complex at Oakerthorpe Holiday Village, cottage boasting of some remarkable features inside and out including underfloor heating, ample parking and its own secure garden with outdoor seating and hot tub. The Dairy is a charming listed building in a truly picture perfect setting built of Derbyshire coal measure sandstone.
The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen /diner with granite kitchen worktops, integrated fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine adjacent a snug living area.
The first floor compromises of a double bedroom with ¾ double bed and a twin bedroom complimented with spacious wet room.
For your further enjoyment the Dairy has Freeview TV and Wi-fi.
As the Dairy is a listed building the property it has single glazing throughout however due to the thickness of the walls the property is very cosy.

Oakerthorpe Holiday Village first opened in 2012 with 1 property known as Amber Lodge, proving a great success owner Vic Fell went about converting the other properties connected to Amber Mill Farm into a Holiday Village which now consists of 7 Holiday Lets ranging from 2 bedrooms to 9 bedrooms – the last property to be completed was in December 2015.Taking advantage of his farming roots and his love for animals especially the feathered variety a petting park within the walled Orchard of the farm was created with a variety of animals including pigs, geese, ducks, bantams, quails, peacocks, sheep and meerkats which is proving very popular with the younger guests especially helping Farmer Vic at feeding times and collecting the eggs from the chickens. A large play park fully fenced off for safety, consisting of swings, slide, climbing frame and large playhouse, canoe and full sized Ferguson tractor.The park includes a picnic area to relax and observe. Adjacent to the play park is a designated BBQ area facility consisting of 5 separate BBQs and for the more sporting of our guests is a dedicated flood-lit sports area for lovers of the beautiful game – of course other ball games are available! All in all a total Holiday Village experience has been created to make your stay here as happy and memorable as possible and with the untapped and underrated Derbyshire Countryside on the doorstep we advise you to give us a try and be among our growing legions of delighted holiday makers.
