Welcome to Summer Lake - a calm, contemporary lake house made for hot tub evenings, slow mornings and rowing boat adventures. With four bedrooms, two en-suites, air-con in lake-facing rooms and a private deck with BBQ and hot tub, there’s space to stretch out and unwind. Whether you’re here for a celebration, a family break or just a quiet weekend by the water, it’s a stay that feels easy from the start.
The Space:
• Sleeps 8 across 4 bedrooms
• 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite)
• Balcony overlooking the lake
• Air-con in lake-facing bedrooms
• Direct lake access with rowing boat
• Hot tub + fenced decking area
• Fully equipped kitchen + dining space
• Smart TV + workspace
• Utility room with washer/dryer
• BBQ area + outdoor dining
- Please note fire is not working currently
Guest Access:
• Full access to the house and lakeside deck
• Private gated estate with on-site parking
• Direct access to the lake via secure gate
• Tennis court on site (equipment provided)
The Neighborhood:
Summer Lake is at the heart of the Cotswold Lakes - surrounded by activity lakes, trails, and spots to eat and unwind. You’re just across the road from South Cerney Outdoor, where you can hire kayaks, paddleboards or bikes, and grab coffee or street food lakeside. Spring Lake (with wakeboarding + more) is also a short stroll away. Or if you fancy a drive out, you can explore the likes of Cirencester, Bibury, Burford, Stow on the Wold and further.
Getting Around:
A car is ideal for exploring the surrounding villages and lakes. That said, Kemble Station (direct trains from London) is just 7 miles away, and the 51 bus runs from the end of the lane to Cirencester and Swindon. Once you arrive, walking and cycling are great ways to enjoy the peaceful landscape.
Other Things to Note:
• Paddleboard rental available — just ask
• High chair + travel cot included
• Decoration service for birthdays/proposals
• Strictly no parties or smoking indoors
• Quiet hours: 10:30PM – 8AM
• High speed WiFi throughout

We are Barry and Jo and we have an amazing collection of Cotswold holiday lodges on Cotswold Water Park near the old Roman town of Cirencester with most of them dog friendly.
We’ve been coming to this beautiful area for many years and about 5 years ago we decided to make the move permanent. We set up our company in 2018, starting with our own holiday home on Windrush lake but as you can see from our portfolio now, we have grown quite considerably!We love to travel and just before the “you know what pandemic” we spent 12 months travelling around the world ending up in New Zealand for Christmas and New Year and then working our way up to Hawaii and North, Central and South America. We think we know what it takes to get a place right for our fantastic guests but we are always learning!
We couldn’t do this without our fantastic team which is growing year by year. Unlike many of the larger companies selling holiday lets we, and our team, know all of our properties intimately because we provide the full service from cleaning and hosting through to managing the hot tubs, the plants on the decking and even window cleaning! Jo, Adele and Meg are the last ones to visit your holiday lodge just before you get there to make sure the place is perfect for your stay – you may even bump into one of them on your way in!
