Pond View Cottage with beautiful views - Dog friendly (cosy and tranquil)

Pond View is a spacious cottage set within the hosts large pretty garden within the beautiful village of North Thoresby. Located in a quiet location. The cottage is dog friendly. It has a range of amenities, two local shops (5mins walk from the Cottage), 2 popular pubs/restaurant. Near to Louth , a traditional market town, Cadwell Park and Cleethorpes a thriving seaside resort. Surrounding beautiful Wolds can be seen from the bedroom window and offers many scenic walks. In winter months visit Donna Nook and see the seals and their pups.

The cottage has a spacious upstairs bedroom with patio doors overlooking the tranquil gated pond, (where guest may sit). Kingsize bed with wardrobes and dressing table/work station. The downstairs is open plan with the kitchen area being fully equipped with an oven, Induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, airfryer and toaster. It has a large breakfast bar with seating. There is a large wet room with shower, sink and toilet, towels are provided. The cosy lounge area has sofas and a flat screen TV with freeview and fire place. There is free wifi throughout the cottage. The cottage has views over the large pretty garden and pond. The Wolds can be seen from the bedroom window.

Guests have access to a private sunken area with a table and chairs which is not overlooked and they can also sit around our tranquil pond and you may see Kevin our terrapin. Guest are also welcome to walk around our family garden.

If you are bringing your family pet (please remember to book them in also there is a £10 charge), separate towels will be provided for those dirty paws; we ask that they remain supervised whilst in our garden. The village is very dog friendly and there is a dog walking field adjacent to the garden where dogs are able to be off a lead, and also a number of dog friendly walks in and around the village.

A complimentary welcome pack is provided, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, biscuits, bread and preserves.

This is a gorgeous property. The accommodation is first-rate, clean and modern. The hosts, Joanne and Glen, are friendly and very welcoming. There is ample parking on the property, and guests can enjoy the lovely yard. We wholeheartedly recommend this property for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

This property is fabulous and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The property is beautifully decorated throughout and has everything you may need. The Hosts are very friendly and always check that you are ok. The garden is amazing and includes areas if you would like privacy. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Incredible weekend

Hi Joanne and Glen, we cannot Thankyou enough for making our weekend so wonderful and for allowing us to enjoy your absolutely beautiful home. I’m was truly lovely and we were so sad to leave, Smokey and Nala were great hosts too and we loved having them around. Deffo be back, the cottage was so pretty and that garden!!! Amazing quiet peaceful getaway

The pictures do not do the cottage enough justice. Joanna and Glen can not do enough for you. We turned up with our dog which was missed of the booking. Which wasn’t a problem and they went to fetch blankets and goodies for the dog. They have a folder full of information and are there if you need them for anything else

The place is amazing the garden are great but couple off things we didn't like we could not have a shower as the room was so cold it was impossible to shower in that room its ok when its summer but in winter spring that room needs some heating and one other thing that we felt we were being watch all the time didn't feel comfortable it was like big brother rewards mr.m.hudson

We are pleased that you thought the place was amazing and enjoyed the gardens. This is the first time anyone has mentioned the shower room and I am surprised that you didn’t raise this when I asked if everything was ok. The cottage has central heating throughout and portable heaters so I don’t understand why you didn’t use one of these if you felt cold. With regards to being watched, the only time we saw you was when you were in the garden with your dog who actually was not on a lead as we request and came into our house twice. It does state that the cottage is in our garden so you would be bound to bump into us during your stay, but I can assure you we are busy people as do not have time to watch our guests and would never do so.

The cottage is very quant and past guests have commented on how peaceful and picturesque the outside area is. You can enjoy sitting around our tranquil fish pond and lose yourself in the atmosphere. It is peaceful but not far from the bustling areas of Cleethorpes, Louth or Lincoln.
