Indianhead Valley is located at the base of Indianhead Mountain, one mile from Blackjack Mountain, easy snowmobile access to trail 2 and four miles from cross country trails.
Indianhead Valley is family owned, operated, cleaned, and maintained. Most of our competitors units are owned by one person, booked by another, cleaned and maintained by yet another.
Because Indianhead Valley is our families unit we feel an extra sense of responsibility to maintain this unit as if they were our own home...because IT IS!
Indianhead Valley boasts approximately a 90% returning renters rate, which means that about nine out of ten of the people that stay with us return to stay with us again at some point.

This condo is as advertised. It is very clean and has everything you need for a nice stay. It is a short walk to a chatlift to Indianhead ski resort. Very convenient if you choose to come back and eat lunch at the condo. It is also a.very short drive to Blackjack ski resort. It is very quiet. There is enough chopped wood available for a fire every night The owner was easy to deal with. I would recommend this condo
Nice place - recently remodeled
We rented this property to snowmobile; it was recently remodeled and the photos on VRBO are not current and don't do the place justice. It's a nice 3 bedroom 2 full bath unit with 2 wood fireplaces, full kitchen and dining spots for 8. It also has two new flat screen TV's, Internet and cable. The inside looked brand new - appliances and all.
You will not be disappointed with the unit at all but the snowmobile trail (11) is not maintained north of the ski hill - in fact I don't think it's possible for a groomer to get through because of fallen trees. Our experience this weekend was all of the trails in that area are not on par with what we normally experience in the UP. We had to ride out about 20 miles to get to good riding.
The place is very clean and everything worked perfect and the showers were hot (there was a review complaining about no hot water). Another neat feature is the units in this area are spread out so you have some space. There is a rental in the basement and there were people there but we never heard them so I think it's well insulated between the units.
Central Location for fishing/sightseeing
We stayed three nights and enjoyed the spacious, immaculate accommodations. It was a short drive to Ironwood and the Porcupine Mountains. Also, we fished Lake Gogebec every day and thanks to the owner's friend's advice caught perch & small mouth bass. The weather was perfect--no need for air conditioning. Our condo had nice views of forest and wildflowers--very quiet and private. Good beds too!
