Ask a questionAbout Jennifer Sherlock
I am from Colorado but I've been living in Oregon for over 20 years. I like hiking, backpacking, rafting, Jungian psychology, talking about things that matter, cooking, eating, chocolate, my children, family, friends, dog.
Why Jennifer Sherlock chose College Hill
I live next door to the cottage on the property adjacent to it. I bought the property with the cottage on it about 20 years ago with the help of my children's grandmother so she could have a place of her own to stay when she came to visit her two grandchildren. It worked perfectly! When the children were old enough, they could go through the gate in the back yard and toddle right up to Grandma's for a story or some cookies. They are in high school and college now, but Grandma still comes to visit regularly.
What makes this Cottage unique
College Hill (so named because it was the location of the first college in Eugene) which is in the Friendly neighborhood is the perfect place to live in Eugene. It is a safe, and yes, friendly, neighborhood. It far enough from the University that it is quiet, but close enough to reap the cultural and intellectual benefits the University brings to Eugene. It is in biking and walking distance of just about everything in Eugene.
