Sweet London Adventure Flat

We stayed at this lovely flat for a week exploring London. Super clean, convenient location, very comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed -- not in a generic, transactional way, but in the way you feel when someone actually thought about you. A handwritten note, milk and cereal stocked in the kitchen, and ice cream waiting in the freezer. Small things, maybe, but they set the tone for the whole stay.Communication with the host was excellent throughout -- responsive, warm, and clear. Never had to wonder or wait.The location in Pimlico is just right. Quiet enough that you can actually exhale after a day of exploring, but a short walk gets you to the Tube, a couple of really good restaurants, well-stocked grocery stores, and some fantastic charity shops that are worth a browse on their own. Westminster is right there when you want it, and easy to leave behind when you don't.We'd stay here again without a second thought. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The communication with our host Hilda allowed us to access the property easily and she followed up to make sure everything was good and answered our questions promptly. We were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers and a selection of snacks, coffee, cereal, etc. Pimlico is an excellent location for a traveler new to London. It is a quiet local area made up of picturesque townhomes. The neighbourhood has everything you need, from local pubs and restaurants to grocery shops and a laundrette. Pimlico is next to Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the Elizabeth Tower, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. The Pimlico tube station on the Victoria line is nearby. The Thames path is a short walk to the south. The flat itself is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. The small kitchen has everything you need: espresso maker, kettle, small washing machine (no dryer), dishwasher, and fridge.The bedroom is spacious, with a king bed and a twin blow up mattress. Our only concern was with the one small ensuite bathroom. The bathtub was awkward to get in and out of. The rain shower head was not adequate to rinse soap and shampoo, and so we had to turn it off and use the handheld shower to rinse ourselves. There is no space on the sink to put your things, but there are 2 small shelves above the toilet. A hairdryer is provided. We would would recommend this property to any able bodied visitor.

It is a lovely flat. The bed is a true king size and is very comfortable. We stayed for over two weeks and slept very well every night. We loved the location. A few minutes walk to the Pimlico tube stop and then a quick ride to everything London has to offer. Our host Hilda promptly responded to any questions we had during our stay and was very nice to interact with. The cut fresh flowers, snacks and breakfast items were a nice touch. Even though it was early November the terrace faces south and when it is sunny it was a a great place for a cup of coffee or to simply relax and watch the world pass by below. Would definitely stay here again.
