Castle House features a unique 17th century tower and a 250 year old farmhouse incorporated into the fabric of a modern home creating a rather unorthodox layout, combining the traditional and the cutting edge in a beautiful, quaint setting.

This listing is for the self-contained guest wing of our house, ensuring you complete privacy with sole use of the space and its amenities.
The space
The castellated tower is definitely the feature which draws the most attention, but Castle House has so much to offer.
Located in the small village of Killea, near the foot of Devil's Bit Mountain, we are surrounded by lush countryside.
During your stay you can enjoy the beautiful views from our garden and relax in the unique comfort of the house itself.
We also have a huge library of boardgames for our guests to play and enjoy while here.
There are many leisurely pursuits available around Killea and Templemore, such as golf, horse riding, fishing or hiking.
And in the evening there is entertainment and refreshment almost on our very doorstep at the O'Sullivans pub, renowned far and wide for its friendly atmosphere, live traditional music and for serving a perfect pint of Guinness!

We are a little over five kilometres from the town of Templemore on a relatively untraveled rural road.
The junction to the M7 motorway is 15 km from Castle House, and from there you have an easy and direct route either East towards Dublin (about 1 hour and 40 mins) or West to Limerick (about 45 mins) and then on to Galway.
This makes both Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport very convenient.

Guest access
Aswell as their bedrooms and shower/bathrooms, guests have access to their own private Kitchen, living room and reading/relaxing mezzanine area.
Guests are also welcome to explore and relax anywhere in the garden grounds.

As we charge by person per night, please let us know how many rooms and beds you require for you and your group.
