Do not book. The property is in an excellent location. However, the property was not as described. The place was not cleaned. It smelled like dog and urine everywhere especially at night. The bed linens were not cleaned, had visible dirty marks and they smelled. There were several items broken or dirty (light fixtures, shower head, coffe maker). The couch had large cigarette marks. This property did not offer any comfort to us. We had to check-out one day early. The host undermined the standards of what guests expectations are for a paid service. Their offers to remediate problems that clearly could not be remediated in an expedited manner fell very short. Our time in Varenna was tinted because of our lodging.
