The apartment accommodates up to 6 guests, ideal for 4 adults in two double beds and 2 children in a bunk bed. It features a private bathroom with shower and all essential amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, fresh linen, and towels for your stay.



The Space:

This bright and modern apartment is located on the upper floor of a characterful downtown Reykjavík house.

The apartment sleeps up to 6 guests, with two double beds for 4 adults and a bunk bed suitable for 2 children. It includes a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials for cooking. Fresh linen, towels, and kitchen basics are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.



As with many older buildings in the area, access involves stairs and guests will need to walk up stairs both to reach the building entrance and again upon entering the apartment itself. Please note there is no lift access.



Check-in is fully self-service. You’ll receive access codes and detailed instructions by email the day before arrival.

Guests have access to the whole apartment. Everything within the apartment is private and for you to use at your convenience.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located right on Laugavegur, Reykjavík’s main shopping street, in the heart of the city center. Many of the city’s most iconic sights are just a short walk away, including the colorful Rainbow Street, Hallgrímskirkja Church, and the Sun Voyager sculpture.



Harpa Concert Hall, the National Gallery of Iceland, the Althingi (Icelandic Parliament), and Reykjavík City Hall are all in 5 min driving distance, or 15 min walking.



Directly across the street is a grocery store, and within a 5-minute walk you’ll find several bakeries and cafés. A wide selection of restaurants, bars, and food halls are all easily reachable on foot, most within a 15-minute walk.



Getting Around:

There is very good bus access in this area. The public bus stops at Bíó Paradís, which is in 3 min. walking distance and the Airport Transfer has a drop-off location 4 min. away (Bus stop 9 - Snorrabraut). There is no free street parking by the property, as this is on the main shopping street but there are paid parking spots nearby that are free overnight.



Other Things to Note:

Cots, cribs, high seats and other children/baby furniture are available upon request.

Please note that the building does not have an elevator, which may be challenging for guests who have difficulty with stairs or are traveling with heavy luggage. We recommend considering this when planning your stay.
