Eastfield Lodge - Perfect Group accommodation

We have 8 beautiful, spacious and en suite bedrooms, each one a pleasure to return to after a good walk or a day out. Every bedroom/bathroom is individually styled, recently upgraded and refurbished but all provide a comfortable and luxurious nights sleep. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and stocked up with Yorkshire tea, coffee, milk, & biscuits.The bedrooms are on two floors of the house and each has a flat-screen smart television, hairdryers and WIFI.

Downstairs is a very well equipped kitchen, dining room, spacious lounge and a newly added Snug Bar with large Smart TV.
300m from the picturesque market square of Leyburn, the Lodge is ideally situated for exploring one of England’s prettiest rural landscapes. From our doorstep, you can venture into the Yorkshire Dales National Park with numerous walking and cycling opportunities, a host of charming villages and places of interest. We are open all year round to welcome families, friends and groups who wish to book the whole house for their exclusive use. With its spacious rooms and communal areas, the house is ideal for larger get-togethers. The house has an enviable location and classic views. Leyburn, is the principal town of Wensleydale with its independent shops, tearooms and pubs – and yet, within 5 minutes of the house, you can be in glorious landscapes. You can start walks from the door or take short picturesque drives to trailheads in gems like Swaledale, Coverdale or Arkengarthdale. It’s also a 5 minute walk to the Wensleydale Tourist Railway for step-back-in-time access to the heart of the National Park. Increasingly, the Lodge is being used to host Corporate Stays.

Book online for the best deals. The house can booked for up to 16 online, but can actually accommodate up to 22 using extra divans and campbeds. If you wish to add additional guests please mention this in the notes or contact us directly so they can be applied to the booking. With the 'self-catered' option we'll generally be here to welcome you, then let you settle yourselves in and relax. You can then be left to your own devices but there is a wealth of information on walks and places of interest. Please note, up to 4 dogs are allowed at a cost of GBP 15 per day per dog and subject to agreement of our Dog Policy.

A lovely house with well thought out accommodation.

Communication with the owners was good. Henry was there to welcome and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. Elegant décor and exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well equipped, and the lounge area was comfortable. Each room was equipped with tea and coffee facilities & TV. It was particularly beneficial to have individual en-suite facilities in each bedroom. For future visitors: adequate parking on site but may be a bit tight for larger cars. Thanks for a great stay.

The most wonderful weekend, with amazing ladies and fantastic host, penny & Henry

The lodge is just stunning !! The warm welcome on arrival was so welcoming. The rooms are stunning, the layout of the house is just perfect for large gathering and families. the games cupboard is FULL!!! The host Penny & henry are just the best !! Penny took all 22 ladies on a 7 mile walk which included a wild swim and a pub lunch !! Just the best weekend. Thank you Penny & Henry, we will be back for another Coppafeel reunion.

We really liked the care and attention to details - fresh flowers, cake to share and jars of sweets. The bedrooms are luxurious with tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in and the lounge areas are comfortable and stylish.

We just had to put it all in a dumpster outside. Would definitely go again

Absolutely unbelievable! This house is just gorgeous, so well designed and styled and literally has everything you could need. There's 14 a dog in our family ranging from 70 to 5 months, so we need space and space is what we had in abundance. The bar was the cherry on top. Henry and Penny are very attentive hosts and we can't wait to come back.

What a fabulous place to stay!

The house has the feeling of a hotel but with the communal spaces to make it perfect for a large group. There is a high quality finish throughout the rooms and the furnishings are stylish and beautiful. It really is perfect! The communication prior to the stay means everything is considered and organised prior to your arrival. Home baked cakes and jars of sweets are additional welcome touches.

We had the most wonderful stay. The lodge was absolutely beautiful – so clean, spacious, and felt just like home. As a family, we made memories that we will treasure forever, from cooking meals together to putting the finishing touches on the wedding. Every moment felt so special. Thank you for being so kind and always happy to help with any little query that we had. We would love to come back one day and relive it all over again.

There are many historic buildings to visit such as, Jervaulx Abbey, Middleham Castle, Bolton Castle and only 20 minutes drive away are the spectacular Asygarth Falls. 40 minutes away is Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale Cheese Factory. There is so much to do and see in all weather conditions to ensure your family has a truly memorable holiday.
Most importantly, every guest can expect a genuine & enthusiastic welcome from us, Henry and Penny or one of our colleagues. Our aim is for you to feel you are staying somewhere special, somewhere we would want to stay ourselves so we encourage you to kick off your shoes and make this “home from home” while you are with us, relax and enjoy.
