Super séjour chez Claude et Gilles

Super, um die Provence zu erkunden

Die Unterkunft ist schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl. Klimaanlage für den Sommer ist vorhanden, Heizung für etwas kühlere Tage auch. Der Pool ist schön und sauber. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat auch die Lage sehr gut gefallen - mitten im Herzen der Provence auf einem sehr großen, gepflegten Anwesen. Dadurch ist das Haus von der Straße aus nicht sofort zu sehen. Ein Navigationssystem ist deshalb sehr hilfreich. Es ist sehr ruhig und erholsam dort, jedoch alles Wichtige schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Nice property, but on a dark one lane road

A few weeks before coming I was told the directions would be sent when I texted from the Avignon train station (because Google maps wasn't correct). Instead I received an email message that their phone didn't work at night, and it was too dark to find the place. What to do? We eventually made our way there and the hosts were congenial. and welcoming. The place is located 11 miles from Saint Remy center and is quite a challenge to find at night, like they said. The roads are one lane with steep ditches on both sides. The road in front was closed for sewer work for a couple days, sending our GPS into fits! The place itself is cozy and charming with plenty of areas to dine and enjoy the beautiful property out in the countryside. You are close to Molleges and Eygalieres. pretty villages with stores and dining.

Nous (2 adultes, 2 enfants) avons passé de très belles vacances à villa Mélodie. La super grande piscine était idéale pour nous reposer après une journée à 33-35°C dans les environs (plein à voir, avec Avignon, les Baux de Provence et la Camargue tout près). Contact tout à fait agréable avec le propriétaire.

Entspannung in ländlicher Abgeschiedenheit bei sehr netten Gastgebern

Wer Ruhe, einen tollen Pool, eine sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung und nette Gastgeber sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Gastgeber, Gilles und Claude, sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Gilles, der auch als Tauchlehrer arbeitet, hat meinem Kind sogar eine Tauchstunde gegeben. Ein tolles Erlebnis! Merci beaucoup!

Wonderful, idyllic setting!

We loved our 5 day stay in Gile’s and Claude’s spacious apartment in the countryside outside St. Rémy-de-Provence. It was beside their house but very private. They were gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed the beautiful big pool surrounded by a lovely garden and yard, with a views of fields. We took day trips that were within easy distance from there. It offered a great respite during a busy vacation. Loved it!

Nur die Nachtigall singt

Ruhe pur an diesem wundervollen Ort. Einzig die Vögel, allen voran die Nachtigall geben ihr Bestes, damit es nicht zu ruhig wird 🕊 Gilles, der Vermieter ist ein freundlicher, weltgewandter Ratgeber und, wichtig für uns, er spricht fließend englisch. Die Wohnung hat 2 Terrassen, WLAN, Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer und einen nagelneuen Weber-Grill, neben weiteren Annehmlichkeiten, zu denen auch ein Wintergarten gehört. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Merci Gilles

Urlaub in der Natur

Sehr schöne, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung auf einem großen, abseits gelegenen Grundstück mitten in der Natur. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Einziger kleiner Haken für uns: Wir waren Anfang Mai bei für diese Jahreszeit zum Teil frischen Außentemperaturen mit unserem 10 Monate alten Sohn dort. Die Wohnung liegt schön schattig unter großen Bäumen. Was im Sommer ein Vorteil ist, hat im Frühjahr dafür gesorgt, dass die Wohnung - insbesondere der Boden - trotz Heizung eher kühl blieb. Zum Krabbeln war dies nicht optimal. Claude und Gilles haben dies mit ihrer Gastfreundschaft aber wettgemacht. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und kinderlieb. Wir können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Excellentes vacances dans un cadre fabuleux

La maison est située à 10 minutes de St Rémy de Provence et à proximité de nombreux sites d’intéret (Les baux de Provence, Eygalieres...). Calme absolu au milieu d’un magnifique jardin. La maison est très fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre. On se sent comme chez soi. La piscine est immense et c’est un bonheur d’y passer du temps. Les propriétaires sont adorables, très disponibles et de bons conseils tout en étant très discrets. Nous recommandons milles fois cette location. Merci à Gilles et Claude d’avoir largement contribué à ce merveilleux séjour.

Wonderful relaxing stay

We had a lovely week at Villa Melody. Gille and Claude are a super couple. They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with our unforeseen travel arrangements at the end of the week. The property is in beautiful grounds and and couldn't be more peaceful. The interior is beautifully presented and is very well equipped. We loved making jam from the abundant plums and eating red juicy tomatoes for breakfast! A real treasure. Thank you Gille and Claude for letting us stay in your lovely house in the country.

De belles vacances

Il était un peu tard pour faire nos courses quand nous sommes arrivés et très spontanément nos propriétaires nous ont dépanné de quelques pâtes et steaks hachés qui ont fait notre bonheur pour le déjeuner familiale. Cela résume l’accueil exceptionnel de nos hôtes et leur gentillesse qui nous a accompagné tout au long de notre séjour. La maison est lumineuse et spacieuse, agrémentée de plantes vertes, et tout est fait pour vous rendre la vie agréable. Nous ne sommes pas dans le stéréotype étroit de la de location équipée à minima avec le budget le plus serré possible. Au contraire le vaisselier est bien rempli, la déco est soignée avec le souci du détail, tout y est fonctionnel et en bon état. Le jardin est grand et bien entretenu avec une belle vue sur les alpilles, la piscine est une merveille et l’accès au potager et aux arbres fruitiers ajoutent encore au plaisir de séjourner dans ce bel endroit. Un grand merci à nos hôtes et à Gilles en particulier pour toute l’attention qu’ils ont portée à la qualité de notre séjour.

traumhaft gelegene Villa

Wer Luxus, Komfort und Einsamkeit in den provenzalischen Apfelplantagen sucht, ist hier richtig. Ein 250 m langer privater Weg führt zum Haus, es liegt völlig versteckt, drumherum sind Pflanzen wie im botanischen Garten, der Blick geht zu den Alpilles, auch das Interieur ist überreich ausgestattet, der überdachte Außensitzplatz ist das Highlight, vom Pool gar nicht zu reden, alles bestens, den ganzen Tag zwitschert die Nachtigall. Man fühlt sich sicher, da die besonders freundlichen, netten und hilfsbereiten Claude und Gilles in unauffälliger Nähe wohnen. Die südfranzösische Patina, das savoir vivre, ist uns Nordeuropäern allerdings irgendwie ungewohnt. Ich habe von dort zu Fuß Molleges, Egalieres, St. Remy, Les Baux und die Alpilles erwandert. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Vacances au calme et dans la nature

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le mas de Claude et Gilles. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la Provence et le Lubéron. Grande maison pleine de charme, à la décoration raffinée, le cadre est superbe. De très bons souvenirs et un accueil adorable, des conseils sur la région et les restaurants. Grande piscine agréable, en pleine nature tout cela face aux Alpilles

Superbes vacances dans une magnifique propriété

La description de la maison correspondait vraiment à la réalité: jolie maison très propre dans un environnement exceptionnel. Il n'y avait aucun bruit, à part celui des oiseaux et des cigales! Aucun vis à vis. La vue est complètement dégagée sur les Alpilles. Maison confortable avec une belle terrasse extérieure pour manger, un joli jardin et une piscine. La piscine est magnifique, très grande et toujours propre. Les propriétaires vivent dans une annexe de la maison (à l'opposé de nous) et on ne les voit quasiment jamais. Ils sont très discrets mais très disponibles à chaque fois qu'on a eu besoin de conseils. Ils ont été vraiment sympas et pleins de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Il y a plusieurs villages à proximité et Saint Rémy de Provence est à voir car très touristique mais sans foule étouffante! Il y a aussi Rousillon, le Luberon ... J'avoue que l'on avait prévu de nombreuses visites,avant notre départ, mais sur place, on a préféré plus souvent rester dans la propriété qui était tellement agréable qu'on voulait en profiter!!! Les enfants ont adoré aussi. On recommande cette location. On a prévu de la réserver pour nos prochaines vacances.

calme et verdure

Maison conforme au descriptif située au calme Voiture indispensable le village le plus proche étant à 2,0 km Idéal pour 4 personnes, la "chambre" en mezzanine étant en fait un bureau ouvert et sans volets. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et habite dans une annexe sur place. belle vue sur les Alpilles et très grande piscine
