The property is part of the highly exclusive Ramsay Garden development, which forms an iconic part of the city skyline beside Edinburgh Castle. Beyond the Castle, major attractions such as the Scotch Whisky Experience, Camera Obscura, and the Royal Mile are only a minute’s walk away.

The apartment has its own private door. The entrance level is located on the ground floor with internal stairs leading down to the lower ground level where you can find the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The inviting spaces offer a fantastic place to relax and wind. An ideal home-away-from-home for exploring Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town.

You'll never be short of something to do in the neighborhood. It's a great location for travelling or commuting to the city.

If you arrive in Edinburgh by train, the apartment is around a 10-minute walk from the Waverley Railway Station. The apartment is also within a 10 - 13 minute walk from the Airlink 100 (airport bus) terminals or the Edinburgh tram stop at Princes Street.

***As there is one flight of internal stairs leading down from the entrance door to the apartment; therefore, it is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for anyone who cannot climb the stairs***

A cosy drawing room and a generously-sized dining room provide plenty of space to spend time with family or friends.

- Bedroom 1: king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Finished with handsome chequerboard marble tiles, the ensuite features both a clawfoot bath and a modern shower.

- Bedroom 2: Double room. The adjacent bathroom contains a shower cubicle.

- Bedroom 3: Twin room with an ensuite bathroom. This ensuite features a large square marble bathtub and rain shower.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT
- Guests are required to pay a refundable security damage deposit after the booking is confirmed. The security damage deposit will be fully refunded pending no damages one week after your departure.

**Roof repair works at Ramsay Garden - May 2025 to September 2025**

**Please be aware that an essential roof repair project is scheduled at Ramsay Garden from late May 2025 to September 2025. This forms part of the necessary maintenance works by Edinburgh Council to preserve the Category A listed building. During this period, scaffolding will be erected or installed in the courtyard and around the building’s exterior, near or outside the flat, depending on the project timeline. There will be noise from the repair works during permitted working hours. Kindly do not be alarmed if you notice scaffolding or repair works on the exterior during your stay. Please do not book the flat if you are uncomfortable with the presence of, noise, scaffolding or roof repair works at Ramsay Garden during your stay.**

**Please note that there is strictly no parking at Ramsay Garden. You may unload the luggage and park there for a maximum of 10 minutes to unload the luggage. Any car which parks inside Ramsay Garden without authorisation or permission will face a penalty and the association reserves the right to move away the car without notice.

If you drive to Edinburgh and need to find a place to park your car, you can use the on-street parking bay in the Old Town or city center. On-street parking bays nearby are free from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. the next day from Monday to Saturday. On Saturday evenings, on-street parking is free from 6:30 p.m. to Sunday 12:30 p.m. and free from Sunday 6:30 p.m. to Monday 8:30 a.m. The NCP Edinburgh Castle Terrace multi-storey car park is within short walking distance (8 minutes) from or to the apartment.**

**Please note the apartment is not suitable for holding any kind of parties and the apartment is strictly non-smoking and no pets. As the apartment is located at Ramsay Garden which is a quiet yet centrally located neighborhood, please keep any form of noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:30 a.m. If these rules are violated, guests will need to pay the security call-out fee. **

Excellent apartment

Really lovely stay here. Beautiful apartment and brilliant position near the castle and just opposite the Witchery. Ideal position for exploring old town. Our second stay here as it's so good and hopefully not the last. Thankyou to all staff of Great Base.
