Steps to beach! Beautiful renovated 1 bedroom

Our renovated condo is located just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches on Maui, Kamaole 2 beach. Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo is located at the Kihei Akahi in Building D which is at the back of the complex. It is on the 1st floor, one floor above the ground level. Picture 15 of the 23 posted provides a good perspective. Features include: GE kitchen appliances, granite counter tops, and cherry wood cabinets. New flooring throughout the entire unit, ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, electronic door lock (no clunky lock boxes to fight with) and in suite washer / dryer. There is an Air Conditioner in the living room.
Complimentary 5G high-speed Wi-Fi, LED 45 inch flat-screen TV in living room (with Netflix!) . Sleep comfortably in the Queen size bed in the bedroom. The living room has a sofa that pulls out into a queen size bed. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking utensil you would ever need. For fun on the beach, there are beach chairs, beach towels a beach umbrella and a cooler. Hi-Rise bar chairs and table on the lanai provide a relaxing place to enjoy the sunset or your morning coffee. Tastefully decorated, you will feel right at home yet with a subtle island flair to remind you that you are no doubt in paradise.
Free parking in a dedicated parking stall is included. The property has 1 tennis court / pickle ball court, 2 gated pools with plenty of chaise lounges and 2 BBQ areas with gas BBQ’s for grilling up your steaks and fresh seafood.
Kihei is beach-combing territory on Maui’s southwest shore, the sunniest and driest end of the island. Kihei Akahi is located across from Kamaole II Beach which is one of three of the finest beaches in Hawaii and is just a few minutes walk from the condo on foot. Not even 5 minutes!
Kihei Akahi is a "Hotel Zoned" complex compliant with STR (Short Term Rental) legistlation.

Great Location! My husband and I enjoyed a week long stay here. The condo was right across from the beach and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay including beach chairs, umbrella and a small cooler. The host provided clear instructions for accessing the property. The property was well maintained inside and out.The kitchen was well stocked. Easy walking distance to dining, coffee and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and excellent location in a bustling area

If you are looking for a quiet condo complex, this is the one! Which is surprising, because you are only a few minute walk to a beautiful beach and restaurants. The pool area is especially quiet, with adults mostly reading, when not swimming. We were surprised there wasn't a hottub but we enjoyed the pool area. We didn't use it but people took full advantage of the BBQs there. The location is excellent, the quiet but friendly vibe was perfect for us as a couple. The only drawback is that the bedroom was too hot to sleep well. It really needs an air conditioner in there. My husband found the bed too hard so his sleep wasn't the best. The kitchen was well equipped - you have everything you need. The living area was nicely updated and looked great. The bathroom and bedroom were plain but it didn't bother us. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. The lanai was just above the pool and you can see a bit of the ocean from there. We loved it! We would have given it a 5/5 but the bedroom was too hot and the bed too hard for us to sleep well. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

Imperfect storm

Our unit was great. No problems there. Mother Nature however had other plans. Our third day we got torrential rain with mud slides. Crazy! But it cleared up Saturday and we enjoyed the rest of our time. We stayed in the unit on the rainy day and it was fine. We will come back and hope for better weather. Our hosts was very helpful.

Great Place & Great Hosts

The location is so convenient, and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops as well as the beach. This was our second time staying here, and we're already planning on a third time. The hosts are thoughtful and responsive.

Awesome Experience

Perfect location! The room had EVERYTHING and MORE that we needed - to cook, clean, have a park day, literally it felt like we were at home!!! The view from the room looking out to the pool area was beautiful. Definitely would rent again. Mahalo for a wonderful vacation.

Great beach stay

Staying in this affordable condo as a part of our Maui travels was wonderful. The unit was well stocked with needed items and overlooked a court yard and pool area. The complex has beautiful grounds and is steps away from Kamaole 2, a walkable, swimmable beach. We will return!

Awesome Stay

Property was very clean & comfortable. The unit had all the supplies I needed. The location was wonderful & I really enjoyed the view. I would definitely rent this unit again. :)

Amazing Kihei Experience! Wonderful Hosts!

This was my first experience with VRBO, or anything like it, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I have to say I couldn't be happier with VRBO, my hosts, the space, and the whole process. What I saw online is what I got and more. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who asks.

Great Maui Condo

I highly recommend this place. The condo was clean and well stocked (towels, beach chairs, dishes, pots, glasses, etc). The complex is quiet and very well maintained. The community grill was great. The balcony faces the ocean and was a great place to relax in the evening. It's a very short walk to the beach which has showers, bathrooms, and a lifeguard station. The bed is on the firmer side. The hosts are very communicative. Great experience!

Cant wait to return

My wife and I always stay in Kaanapali, for whatever reason we drew up in our head that was our go to spot. When the fires struck we had to pivot and stay somewhere else or cancel our vacation. We decided to give Kihei a shot. Well we loved staying in Kihei. The location is central to everything, beaches, shopping, great food and drinks. 2 days into our stay my wife said Kihei seems to be the spot to stay moving forward and I couldn't agree more. The owners were very communicative and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The condo was stocked with more than what we needed and was across the street from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon.

Had a lot of fun!

Came as advertised. The owners communicated very well, and the property managers were helpful and very polite. The location was key for us as we spent most of our time around Kihei and the surrounding areas.

Sunshine Getaway

This property was accurately described in its listing. The owner was quick to respond to questions. We liked the central location to the beach, shops, food, grocery store... and ease of access to main roads to get around island. Swimming pools and grounds were clean and beautiful. The beach chairs & cooler were awesome! The night security guard was friendly and helpful, and we felt safe in the area we stayed. The kitchen is beautiful and has appliances that met all our needs for cooking some of our meals. My only recommendation would be to purchase toilet paper on your first grocery run as we were only given 2 rolls for our week+ long stay :). All in all we had a lovely time and would stay here again.

Anniversary trip in Kihei

Very nice! Clean! Convenient walk to several great beaches, stores and restaurants! Owner kept in touch during our trip to be sure we were taken care of. Staff at office check-in were helpful to help us acclimate to the property! I would stay here again if we come back! Mahalo!

Maui Adventure

Excellent location- the beach is just a short walk across the street with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The condo is neat and clean with views of the water from the balcony. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
