You can set off on breathtaking walks right from the doorstep — across moorlands, through valleys, and up to viewpoints like Solomon’s Temple — yet you’re only a short stroll or drive into Buxton’s historic town centre with its Opera House, spa heritage, and lovely cafés.
We love that Buxton offers the best of both worlds: it’s peaceful and surrounded by nature, but also full of life, culture, and charm. It’s a place where you can spend the morning hiking through dramatic landscapes and the afternoon enjoying coffee and cake in town.
