Delightful stay

Lovely charming apartment, located in a very central location was perfect for our visit! It was well equipped with everything needed and easy walk to all. Bed was very comfortable. Checking in was easy with clear advance communication from Sylvie. Thanks for all.

Adorable Apartment in Center of Beaune

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in this adorable apartment in Beaune. The location could not have been better - we could walk everywhere! The size of the apartment was very nice for two people, and had all the conveniences we needed. The decor was so charming, I'd love to try to recreate it at my own home! We would definitely stay here again!

Beaune & Biking!

We loved our time at this beautiful apartment. It's situated in an ideal location and includes everything you will need. Be sure to go on a biking wine tour -- oh, so fun!

Beautiful apartment, attentive owners!

Our family of four absolutely *loved* this apartment. It is beautifully appointed with everything you need. Some of our favorite things about it: the great kitchen for cooking meals after gathering goodies at the Saturday market, opening the gorgeous casement windows and letting the breeze in, being in the center of town with quick access to everything, and having helpful owners when we needed assistance. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Excellent apartment, great location

The apartment was clean, well-equipped, spacious, and very comfortable for the two of us during our five-day stay. The air conditioning worked well. The kitchen was more than adequate for the night that we cooked some things from the Saturday Farmer's Market. It is hard to imagine a better location in the center of Beaune, and yet it was also an unusually quiet location. The next time we are visiting Beaune, this will be our first choice for a rental.

Great location. In the center of everything. The parking pass didnt work so you have to call the service to open the gate. Great market on Saturday but dont park on the street Friday night. You will be towed. Sylvie was responsive to our questions and the apartment was clean spacious. There will be no soaps or shampoo. Bring your own everything.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Beaune

Sylvie’s place could not have been in a better location. Everything is either right outside of the building or within a 5-6 minute walk. We had a 1 year old baby with us so it was great to be able to pop back to the apartment for nap times and then be right back out in the action after the naps ended. This was the third stop on our tour of France and it was great to finally have A/C. It was a relief to come back to a nice cool air conditioned apartment. Would absolutely stay again

Beautiful Beaune

4 wonderful days/nights in Beaune. The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend. One issue. The second bedroom is more kind a glorified closet with two cots for beds. No room for luggage in that room. So if you have 4 adults in your group, two of them will “draw the short straw” and have to stay in that “room”.

Bad Choice

We were misled on this property, we were given a different unit then shown in the pictures.... to top it off we paid for a two bedroom and given a one bedroom, could not reach the property owner until late at night.... we stayed one night and left.... would not recommend this owner to rent from...

Best place to stay!

This was our dream vacation - and the perfect location. Centrally located, beautifully keep up and everything we needed. Nice kitchen, large dinning room allowed full family games of cards and dining. Absolutely the place to be to explore Beaune and Burgundy - which we did for 8 days while staying here. The Saturday market is a must see - just out the front door. Highly recommend!

Charming and comfortable apartment

We stayed in this apartment last week during the record heat wave and the air conditioning in all the rooms kept us very comfortable! What we like... 1. French, creative decor with modern touches. 2. Very comfortable master bed and soft sheets. 3. Beautiful French windows on 3 sides. When it was cooler we loved opening them to watch the action in the village. 4. Owners were very responsive 5. Easy to find parking in front but they do have card access to parking lot but we never used it. 6. Super location!! Can walk to everything, except the grand cru domaines. 7. Nice kitchen with wine cooler and fabulous stove. 8. Of course great air conditioning 9. Roomy! Has a second bedroom which we used for our closet and dressy area. 10. Washer and dryer Our suggestions... 1. A set of new cooking pots 2. Large water glasses 3. Supply of paper products, etc and dishwasher soap to make it turn-Key for vacation renters. 4. Subscribing to a few English news stations on cable. Was a great apartment to rent in Beaune and we definitely will return, plus the owners are always there to help.

A real winner!

Gorgeously decorated apartment with high quality furnishings and fabric. Bathroom has been modernized. Epicenter of town just a minute's walk from Hospice de Beaune. One flight up a wide stairway. Second bedroom small with twin beds. Well outfitted kitchen with good quality dishes and stemware. Superb!

Beautifully decorated but some needed improvements

First of all let me state that the apartment is lovely with excellent decoration and ambience. The kitchen is also fully equipped and ready for cooking. We appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom so that we could keep the window closed but still have the room nice an cold for sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the linens nice. For us ambience is always important and we greatly enjoyed being in this apartment aesthetically. Another fantastic feature of the apartment is that it comes with a parking pass for an enclosed parking garage which is just a few blocks away. This was a wonderful feature. Our pass card had some technical troubles and the owner personally took care of it right away. The communication by the VRBO app was very prompt and we felt well taken care of. There were some problems however. The hot water supply is from a tank and there was not enough for two sequential showers which was maddening. On our last day the hot water supply broke completely and we only had cold water. This definitely needs to be fixed right away with a continuous hot water supply system. Next there was a peculiar smell in the bathroom area which we think was probably cooking smells from the downstairs restaurant. It was not awful, but slightly unpleasant. Lastly no shampoo was supplied which is very unusual since this is usually a standard feature these days. We had to go out and buy a bottle. Also the soaps were tiny and not enough for the shower, sink, and kitchen. We would suggest soap and shampoo dispensers as seems to be standard these days. Summing up, we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again, but clearly the hot water situation needs to be fixed immediately and the soap/shampoo amenities improved. The owners were great and I am sure they will take care of these problems.

Great location!!

Host was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. Provided restaurants, things to do,etc. Apartment was great location, 5 min walk to anything, but also quiet at night. Would highly suggest if staying in Beaune for a couple nights.

Wonderful property in perfect location.

Great large apartment in heart of Beaune, 30 meters from Le Cep. A tremendous base to explore the Cote d’Or. Access was smooth, and parking appreciated. Full kitchen and (very) large dining area. Great for entertaining small dinner parties as well.

Well appointed, character stay in the heart of Beaune

A beautiful apartment, very centrally located in Beaune. Air conditioning was a real bonus in the heart of summer. Decor is delightful, kitchen well provisioned and beds super comfortable. Could not have wished for a better location or a nicer stay in Beaune - thank you. Had dinner at Le Cep just a few steps away - was outstanding!

Great Location, Nice Accomodations

We stayed in this cozy apartment for a week. Provided great in-town location with access to nearby markets on Wednesday and Saturday, and many great restaurants within walking distance. Also good for day trips to nearby towns and wineries.

Posh but modern apartment in the center of town

Our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) stayed here for two nights. It's in a great location (very center of town). Each room has air conditioning which was appreciated as it was summer. Apartment was very clean and is beautiful. The only downside was it was up about 3 flights of stairs and there is no lift, but we knew that ahead of time and overall it was fine. Owners were very helpful and had a parking pass to a nearby lot for us to park our car. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfectly located and spacious apartment

The apartment was easy to find and perfectly located for a stay in Beaune. The master bedroom was large and the second bedroom with two twin beds worked perfectly for a second couple. The living room is also large with a big banquet table, and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. There are no food supplies, though, so you will need to purchase anything along those lines for cooking. The apartment's second story windows overlook a very pretty street and let in the perfect amount of cool air at night, although there were air conditioners if you happened to be staying in a warmer month than we did. We absolutely loved this apartment and would rent it again in a heartbeat. The only issue was that the shower didn't drain well, so we all had to take very quick showers before the water overflowed on to the bathroom floor. The owner did warn us about this, though, so we were prepared. Again, rent this place! It's beautiful and the owners are very nice and accessible.

Perfect location, wonderful apartment!

We LOVED this apartment! In the heart of Beaune, everything is a block or two away. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the view is great! (Just beware if you have bad knees - there is no elevator, and it is on the 2nd floor.) The apartment owner Eric speaks fluent English and works in the pharmacy on the 1st floor. So he is always there when you need him. He is very nice and helpful, even has a list of restaurants he recommends (there are so many in Beaune, it was nice to be able to narrow it down!) Parking is hard to come by in Beaune, but Eric provided us with a free parking pass for a nearby underground parking lot. A nice added perk! I can't say enough good things about this accommodation. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Beaune!

Wonderful Apartment and Perfect Location!

We were looking for a place for two couples to stay comfortably near the city center of Beaune. We found this apartment and it worked out perfectly. We used it as a base for exploring both the city itself and the surrounding countryside. Eric was a wonderful host and communicated all the logistics very clearly in advance. He was also available via cell phone and in person throughout our stay to address any questions. He has plenty of recommendations for local attractions, activities and shops. The apartment was perfectly clean, was well stocked with linens and towels, has an excellent kitchen and a gorgeous dining table, and has plenty of space for lounging and socializing. The ceilings are tall, the furniture is comfortable and the apartment has a beautiful view down a very charming street. The master bedroom is quite spacious. The smaller bedroom was fine for a second couple. We were able to push the two twin beds together. The mattresses were very comfortable. There were no noise issues, despite us being there for the Hospices Wine Auction, at the very busiest time of year. The apartment is perfectly located for exploring inside the city. We did have a car with us, which we parked using the apartment's parking pass in a garage less than a 10 minute walk away. This worked out fine. The garage is close to the edge of the city, making for easy access to the main roads leading out of town. The apartment is about a 20 minute walk to the train, if you are arriving via transit, and you would not need to have a car to enjoy exploring the city. The apartment is located close to many fine restaurants, but is also near many excellent markets (bakeries, pastry shops, meat and cheese shops, etc.) We were happy to be able to easily and comfortably cook for ourselves. There is a restaurant on the first floor of the building, a pharmacy and a wine shop adjacent. We found this apartment was perfectly suited to our needs and we would most certainly recommend it.
