Full of charm and comfort, it's a peaceful, dog-friendly retreat that's perfect for smaller families, couples, or friends looking for a relaxed coastal getaway.

Tucked away on a quiet country lane and surrounded by rolling hills, Little Penrose Cottage has plenty of traditional charm, with beams, cosy corners, and countryside views from many of the rooms. Inside, there's loads of space to spread out and unwind. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is the heart of the home, complete with a classic AGA, big farmhouse table, and everything you need for laid-back breakfasts or evening meals. There's also a separate kitchen with modern appliances and a handy utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and extra fridge.The sitting room is warm and welcoming, with comfy sofas and a wood-burning stove that's perfect for evenings in. The bright sun room opens straight onto the garden and makes a great spot for reading, playing board games, or simply soaking up the countryside views.

Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms sleep up to four guests; including a spacious king-size room with an en-suite shower, a second twin room, which can be configured into a super-king on request, and a family bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower. There are additional bedrooms that are closed off for this lower occupancy option, giving guests a great-value stay with full access to the main living spaces and garden.

Outside, the garden is a real treat. It's large and partly enclosed, with lawns, mature trees, and colourful flowerbeds. The patio area has rattan dining furniture and a barbecue for alfresco meals, and there's a timber summerhouse that doubles as a quiet spot for morning coffee or an afternoon read. For a bit of fun, the garage has a full-size table tennis table, too.
