Cottage On Main- In The Heart Of Weston

The Cottage on Main is a whole-house rental and the perfect place for your Weston getaway! Located on Main Street just across from Café Avalon, you can easily walk anywhere in town. The Cottage has an open floor plan with two living areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and off-street parking. Breakfast provided. (Fully licensed & permitted through the City of Weston)

Enjoy the entire Cottage to yourself and your guests! It accommodates groups well with its three bedrooms (King/Queen/Full) and two full bathrooms- both with large rainfall showerheads. Larger bathroom has jetted tub, perfect for relaxing with a glass of local wine. Board games are provided if you'd like to stay in and enjoy the house. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans/kitchen staples for meals in, or enjoy everything Weston has to offer just steps from the front porch.

I think we were expecting a breakfast cooked for us, but it is possible that we didn't read closely enough. There were muffins available, and yogurt, and cereal etc. You could help yourselves to any of that. It is a cute place, and we enjoyed our time there.

Perfect location to all the great things to do in Weston. Walkable to Main Street and O’Malleys. Communication with the owners is fantastic - very quick to respond. This was the second year in a row we stayed at this house and will stay there again for our yearly Weston weekend.

Perfect and convenient location for exploring Weston. Easy communication with host, had no issues with the home. This is an old home. Do not go expecting a new build or renovations. We had no expectations, but upon reading some other reviews they seemed a bit harsh. You are not buying this property, you are staying in it. That said, we had everything we needed plus some. It was a very enjoyable trip with family. Highly recommend staying here.

Unsafe Conditions: A strong, moldy smell triggered health concerns.Listing Inaccuracies: The property suffered from excessive wear and tear, and in-person conditions didn't match the posted listing photos.Poor Cleanliness: The bathrooms were not cleaned properly, and expired food was left in the kitchen.Uncomfortable Beds & Furniture: The mattresses were excessively hard, and furniture had visible stains.Lack of Disclosure: The fact that a building manager lived in the basement was only revealed in the check-in instructions rather than on the booking page.VRBO support was very helpful with managing this stay. I'm very happy customers have a VRBOCare Guarantee to give me peaceof mind for sny bookings. All representatives i spoke with were professional and understanding. Love the location. House was very clean, but felt a bit worn. Very slow water drain in both bathroom sinks. Greatly appreciate the coffee, wonderful muffins, and other breakfast items. The Hosts are very responsive to texts. We stayed at this house during Christmas Homes Tour in 2023 and it was decorated for Christmas. Missed the decorations this year.
