The home was perfect for my pets and I to stay. It was clean, centrally located, and my dogs enjoyed having a fenced yard. An excellent choice if staying in Leavenworth with family and/or pets!

The interior of the house was great! The yard could use some work, but we didn't spend much time outside.

It was a great stay! We appreciated the coffee so much! Ice trays would be nice to add to the house.

Short Stay for a wedding

Clean and functional. The only issue was that the remote for the fan in the living room did not work - probably needs a new lithium battery. Hot outside, but the air conditioner worked well and we were comfortable.

Check in was okay. I had trouble getting door to open upon arrival. The humidity, and tired from a 20 hour drive to get there I think.... but the door handle goes up, not down. The host did help me tho- so that was great! Home was nicely equipped. Pretty clean- did have brown humidity drippings on ceiling in bathroom- I took mop and wiped it off. Flies on master bedroom window sill. Fingerprints from small child on fireplace. Bathroom is small, not great for makeup applying. So I took desk in master bedroom, mirror from small bedroom and made a makeup table. The floor of the home does slant forward. I liked that I could bring my dog, BUT neighborhood is not dog walking friendly. So I would take him to the park right up the street and walk him. Neighborhood is older. Wish backyard was either fenced, or made into driveway. Parking is interesting. There is a fire hydrant right in front of the home, and neighbor next door has 3 cars.... so was always trying to make sure I wasn't too close to either. Overall- it was what I needed for my trip of 10 days. Yes, I would book it again.

Just as pictures showed

The online listing was accurate for the home. Furniture is cute for staging but not comfortable for lounging after a long day. Off street parking would have been nice. Overall it was a nice, clean, quiet place to stay.

We were here for a wedding and met family here as well. The house was very clean. Centrally located. Plenty of seating for the family even though the house was small. The host responded to our questions pretty quickly. However, our complaint is that, if the house is advertised as being able to sleep 7 or so, that there should be enough bath towels to accommodate such. It also needed to have cookware and dishes that could accommodate that many for a meal. There was no skillet or pans big enough to do so, nor enough plates.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Extra towels were available in the closet, and we would have been happy to assist at any time if you had reached out. We also regret that we weren’t able to provide the amendments you needed during your stay. We appreciate your comments and will work on improving these areas moving forward.

The proprty outside had spider webs and debris. The inside was nice however right when we entered we were met by 3 brown recluse in the bath tub ALIVE. There were spiders all throughout. I do understand this time of year they are coming inside however maintaining a property from these types of insects is crutial. Due to this we barely slept as we kept finding them. Otherwise this would ofbeen perfect.

Pleasant surprise!

My partner and I planned a weekend at Weston. The bookings there were filled, and we moved a bit out. This site was only 20 minutes from Weston and Weston State Park. It was easy to find and only a bit off the main highway. On the way to a drugstore, we were diverted because of the Veterans' Day parade. My partner is a vet so we stopped only to find out it is the oldest Veterans' Day parade west of the Mississippi. After we stopped to get something to eat at a local bar, only to be invited to join a group of local vets. If you are open to new experiences, you can have a good time just about anywhere. The property was clean and comfortable. It is close to Fort Leavenworth and in the oldest part of town but cute and worthy of a stay. If we return to that area, this property is on our list.
