GENERAL INFORMATION:
***We have an extensive page Trip Planner document that gives tips on everything from; SUV rentals and flight information to the best restaurants, beaches, tours and everything in between. Most guests find that document to be invaluable and it saves them a lot of money.

***We have a great SUV rental guy who gives all of our guests the best deals on the island. Our adventure tour guy specializes in the swimming pigs, all sorts of fishing and spearfishing trips, lobstering, sea turtles, sand bars, rope swings, etc. He also gives our guests great rates on the excursions. We have been using both guys exclusively since since 2016. The owner of the property also can rent kayaks and snorkel gear and stuff like that for you.

***Bahamian owned - So the cool thing is that your funds go right into the local economy, not in the pockets of a foreign investor. Eleuthera is generally a fairly poor island and that is a BIG deal for their economy.

WHO WE ARE AS HOSTS;
We have been VRBO/HomeAway Premier Hosts since 2016 with over 20 properties and many thousands of reviews online averaging 4.95 stars average out of 5.0 stars. We always respond to any guests concerns immediately and have a well seasoned staff in every location. For example this cottage, the Bahamian owner lives locally so if you need anything they are right there. We have thousands of reviews online.

PROPERTY OVERVIEW;
There are 3 villas at this property so if your dates are not available please ask us and we can direct you to the two other villas or one of our other many properties we have on the island. The entire property compound is fenced and private with lovely grassy area along with many palm trees and flowering shrubs. Each villa is identical with 2BR and 2 Bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, living room and 3 separate outdoor decks. All villas have their own private space and BBQ grill. The pool area and hot tub, elevated sundeck and gas fire pit and exterior dining table are shared spaces. The hot tub is obviously heated and the pool is not heated. There is lots of deck furniture around the pool and up in the sundeck area. There is an outdoor shower by the pool. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer on the property grounds as well and is free to use for each guest. The reality is most of our guests end up hanging out at our property and especially at our beach after they have explored the island for their first few days. They realize having a pool and hot tub is a great asset and there is no nicer beach on the island than Airport Beach. Also A quirky, but really cool thing if you love nature, is we have a resident Yellow Crested Night Heron that lives at our property and is always hanging around the pool (see our photos).

YOUR VILLA;
Each Villa has excellent mini split Air Conditioners in each room, FREE Wi-Fi, a phone to make FREE local calls, large Smart TV equipped with cable and FREE parking at the property. All villas are equipped with 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each and also the sectional couch in each villa serves as another area for 2 people to sleep if you have 6 people in total. With 4 people each couple has their own bedroom and their own bathroom. There are 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers with large ceiling rain shower heads, a large well stocked full kitchen with a dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a full size fridge, electric range/oven, microwave, large sink, blender, toaster, Melitta coffee maker, Imusa Expresso and Cappuccino maker, lots of pots and pans and kitchen gadgets to cook full time if you desire. There is closet and storage space in each Villa. Each villa comes with 3 private decks attached to your individual villa off each bedroom and the main entry living area. There are hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings as well. You will also have your own gas grill with FREE propane to use during your stay to grill all that seafood you catch with our boat captain! Each villa is exactly identical to the others so there is no difference between villa 1-2-3. Enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets from the decks and views of both Caribbean Sea to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. The setting is very relaxing and the perfect place for mental health, stress relief and to unwind. Safety is something many guests ask about and our location is extremely safe and our property is well lit and we have never had a single crime issue. Eleuthera is generally a very safe island not be confused with other non-safe Bahamian islands such as Nassau. PLEASE NOTE; The villas are identical, however the one you are renting may have slightly different decor on the walls or different colored bedding as shown in the photos, etc.

OUR LOCATION;
The Landing Villas is located about 7 miles north of Governor’s Harbor the island's capital. Remember Eleuthera is long thin island being 110 miles top to bottom and only half a mile wide. So if you pick the wrong destination to stay, be prepared for a lot of driving on some bad roads coupled with super pricey gas. We are in a superb central location for exploring both to the north and to the south of the island and we are very close to the island's best attractions. See our map in the photo section. Airport Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island (and in the world) is right at the end of our dirt road which is a 1 minute drive or a 5 minute walk. You can literally walk for miles in either direction along the beach and enjoy some of the best snorkeling on the entire island with the coral formations just offshore. There are many beaches, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, liquor stores, food stores, banks, island attractions and gas stations all within 3 – 15 minutes away heading north and south. ELEUTHERA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE;
If Miami Beach is your thing we respectfully suggest you pick a different destination. Eleuthera is a sleepy island with some flaws; bad roads, dated infrastructure, more frequent than back home power / water / internet outages, geckos sometimes will be in a home and painfully slow service at certain places. In Eleuthera people are genuine, helpful and kind. It is unspoiled and gorgeous and mostly empty going back back 75 years in time. You will explore the most stunning beaches you have ever seen and have them usually all to yourself. Last but not least, crime is very low in Eleuthera unlike other Bahamian and Caribbean islands.
