In Broughton-in-Furness there is a bakery, butchers, small grocery store and a choice of cafes and pubs. Walks from the door lead to the Broughton Railway Path and the Duddon Mosses Nature Reserve, a delightful place for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy a bracing walk along sand and pebble shores of the Duddon Estuary taking in the wide, open vistas at Haverigg Beach and Millom Beach, both within 9 miles. For those interested in local history, take trip to the ruins of Furness Abbey and the Dock Museum at nearby Barrow-in-Furness, 15 miles away. Take a cruise on Coniston Water, 12 miles away or hire rowing boats, sailing dinghies, canoes or kayaks from Coniston Pier. There are many walks to be had, from easy strolls around the lake to tackling the Old Man of Coniston not for the faint hearted!

Bright, spacious and elegantly furnished, cream walls are complemented with exposed beams, and flagged and wooden floors creating a simple yet sophisticated interior. From the front door head into charming living room. Two reclining sofas are positioned around the wood burner-effect gas stove, perfect for relaxing evenings in with your pup at your feet and a film on the TV. Prepare a delicious meal in the spacious kitchen/diner, equipped with an electric oven and hob, integrated fridge/freeze and microwave, and gather around the dining table to enjoy sociable mealtimes. Two armchairs in here are ideal for enjoying a morning coffee, and there is a handy utility area with a washing machine and separate WC. Upstairs on the first floor are the two bedrooms, both with ample storage and views over the village streets, and the family bathroom. There is a king-size bedroom, and the second bedroom has a King-sized zip and link that can be twins on request, ideal for children and adults alike. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath. From the bunk room, a flight of stairs leads to the games room/snug with table football, books, board games and a TV with DVD along with a selection of DVDs, and four bean bags.

Outside there is a quaint, enclosed yard with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. On-street parking is available in front of the cottage and there's a secure shed in the yard for storing bikes.
