Family vaca

We had a terrific time and stay at. Everything from board games and books. Short walk to the beach and Steve was very nice to reach out multiple times to check in and give ideas of places to eat and check out during our stay.

Great 4 Weeks!!

Great house, great location - close to beach, close to Fenwick, and easy to get everywhere in OC! This house was absolutely perfect for our family and 2 small pups! Definitely recommend :)

Family Vacation

Vacation with our family, including 2 teenagers with friends. They loved the location. Walking/biking to everything they could want to do. They loved the freedom. Safe, family neighborhood. Beach was excellent; never too packed, lifeguard on duty, found free parking on street at beach each day so didn't have to very everything back and forth. Excellent house for family. Outdoor space is lacking; a small balcony with 2 chairs and nice front porch with 2 chairs. Otherwise, perfect spot for a family.

Perfect House in the Perfect Location

Our family of seven, plus two small dogs had a fantastic time staying in this home. It was large enough that everyone had their own space, when needed and perfect gathering areas for when we wanted full on “FAMILY TIME”. The decor is beautiful. The beds are comfortable (even the single pull out in the foyer). The house is well maintained. Our dogs enjoyed the yard, as did the kids. The front porch is perfect for relaxing with the kids or dogs and upper deck is perfectly private for sunbathing or just to get away and read a book. We could walk or ride our bikes to the beach. The bus stop is right at the intersection of 142nd, but would not advise using it late at night, due to the lengthy ride to the beach house. You are within walking distance to the beach, Harpoon Hannah’s, Mini Golf, fabulous little niche’ stores and a hop, skip and jump right over the line to DE for tax free shopping...and no OC MD liquor taxes!!! It is located in Caine Woods, one of the nicest neighborhoods in Ocean City. A true gem of a place! The owner, Steve, was so organized and easy to reach for any questions. I would HIGHLY recommend this house to any of my friends and family, for a vacation stay. Loved our beach house stay and didn’t want to leave. The only down fall, which the owner made us aware ahead of time, was locating linens to bring and the ice maker not working correctly. He was upfront and apologized. I did suggest to the homeowner, a new cleaning agency was needed. I am a complete neat freak, but even my kids thought the cleaning company did a lousy job. This is NOT the homeowners fault!!! I contacted the company and requested that the owner receive a credit, as they didn’t do their job. The owner had them offer us to come out and clean...but like I said, OCD here, so I did it and requested owner to be credited. Other than that, we have NO complaints! Beautiful home. Fabulous location. Can’t beat it for the price! Book now!!!

Beautiful late summer stay

We truly enjoyed our week stay and we are so thankful that the property was pet friendly. The home is beautiful and has all the amenities we needed. We loved the short walk to the beach and the beautiful surrounding neighborhood for dog walks. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the home. It was very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for us, as we had friends with a beach home close by. We had a small issue checking in, as the code didn’t work at first, and the alarm started going off, but Stephen responded pretty quickly. Our biggest issue was communication with the owners over our pet fee refund. We decided not to bring our pets, so I requested the fee be refunded. I had to go back and forth for over a month with the owners, and finally had to have VRBO reach out. That was certainly the worst part of renting this property. The home itself was great, but I do not believe I would rent again because of the communication issues.

Family vacation

The home was beautiful and very clean. Located away from the busy coastal hwy and in a residential neighborhood. Wish we could have utilized the yard more but with the time we had we stayed at the beach and boardwalk more. I would recommend this place for families looking for a relaxed and safe place for vacation.

Beautiful house close to beach

Lovely house, close enough to walk to the beach, but the beach access also had plenty of parking for driving over. Two queen bedrooms on bottom floor are small but cozy. Closet has space for a crib mattress or similar where our toddler slept

Beautiful, great location

House was beautiful and the location was excellent. Close to everything. Grill handles were a little temperamental and caused some issues with grilling. Ice maker didn’t work so was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, we loved the property and location.

Fantastic

The house is terrific - clean, spacious and comfortable. It is also close to the beach, while situated in a nice neighborhood. Love that the house has a fenced in yard too. Can't beat the house. Steve, if you are ever looking to sell, call me! Also, Steve (the house's owner) is great. He is very nice, communicative and easy to work with. A perfect trip tp the beach!

Nice house

Simple nice house walkable to the beach. The house is as advertised from the pictures. It slept 10 tightly but sleeps 7 easily. The quiet location makes it nice to escape from the crowds and it is close to Fenwick Island which also make it less on the crowded Ocean City side. It would be helpful if the listing clearly stated that sheets and towels are not provided as I didn't know this until the week before we rented. There are several local places that provide sheets for rent. Also, the check in process was a mess because we were given the wrong door code and ended up having to wait outside for a few hours, but I think this was a one time mistake on the part of the property owner.
