Our weekend stay was amazing! The location of the house is fantastic as it sits just a few feet away from a major intersection of Frenchman St. Great bars and restaurants are located steps away and our group was able to walk to Bourbon St. as well. Both nights we had a brass band set up on the corner across from us and we got to enjoy some New Orleans nightlife from the comfort of our patio! Last, but not least, Kim was a superb host! She was incredibly responsive and very accommodating to our group. I would definitely recommend this rental to others!
Jason, it was a pleasure hosting you and your group, and than you for taking care of the property ;)
We give discounts to returning guests, and we would love for you to come back!
The home is absolutely beautiful.
If you love live jazz music than this is the place for you. The location, the house, and Kent were all amazing. Kent was extremely engaged with us via text and phone. He truly wanted us to have a great NOLA experience and we did. If you were planning on staying anywhere while in NOLA, this is the place you want. Thank you again Kent!
Great Place to Spend the week!
Perfect Location (other than a little late-night noise). Kent is a great host. Easy.
From time to time there are street musicians playing, it's a fun area with a lot of excitement , people walking and enjoying the Jazz, Urban pubs and Art.
Perfect house for a rich French Quarter experience
Amazing house. Great space and great neighborhood. Kent makes it super easy logistically.
Great location, great host
Kent could not have been more helpful or accommodating to our group. He had no problem arranging for an early check in for a few members of our group and even gave a short tour of the area for us to get our bearings. The house is large, clean and well appointed. The entire French Quarter is walk-able and you are steps from the heart of Frenchmen St. There is a band that plays on the corner that can be very loud late into the night. The porch is a great place to watch, but if you are hoping for an early night the noise will make it difficult. Overall a great experience, location and host!
Gorgeous house in the heart of Frenchmen St!
We stayed here at the end of April-2018. This house was beautiful and fit our party like a glove. Almost everything is walk-able and if you cant get there walking, you take a street car or Uber. The house is currently being made into a 4 bed, 2.5 bath. This did not affect us in any way, except we could not really use the backyard. We were not bothered by this as we were on the front ,or upper porch, people watching. The one time someone had to stop in, we were not home and the Owner called to let us know and suggested several places we may want to stop while we were out and about. Very considerate! Other reviews mentioned that it gets loud on the corner. They are correct. There is an amazing brass band that plays on the corner and we were entertained nightly. If you are someone who needs it quiet by 10pm, who doesn't like New Orleans music, who doesnt like dancing in the street with strangers while the band plays on, or like people watching, this may not be the house for you. It is definitely the house for us!! The perfect jumping off point... We went to Abita to see the brewery, had some amazing food at The Cafe and walked through The Mystery House. We hit several places on Frenchmen- Dat Dog, Spotted Cat, Cafe Rose Nicaud. Did the Riverboat and French Quarter. When we got tired of the touristy places, we found a delightful corner bar called Harry's. We are already planning our trip back and this house is first on our list! I need another run at Dat Dog's crawfish dog....
