South facing villa with beautiful river views and located 15 minutes from the center of Porto.
In a small marina on the banks of the Rio Douro, very quiet, near the beaches (5 minutes) of the river and 15 minutes from the seaside resort of Espinho (Atlantic Ocean).
A large secure swimming pool with garden furniture, 2 terraces, barbecue, music.

Fishmonger and baker spend 2 times a week in front of house.
Possibility rental boat, jet ski, buoy ... The house consists of 2 levels. An independent level with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen and the other of 4 bedrooms, one with bunk beds, bathrooms / shower, living room, kitchen. Wild and typical environment. Some shops nearby. Minimum booking of a week from Saturday to Saturday for the period June / September.

Fantastic trip

We’ve had such a lovely stay at this lovely villa. It’s a very quiet area, with lovely views of the river. We were 3 families staying for the week, we thoroughly enjoyed the (heated!) pool everyday, we had a couple of days wakesurfing on the river Douro and a couple of trips to the beach and river beach. we also thoroughly enjoyed a cooked meal at the villa by Alda, she is a very talented chef. Check in and out process was seamless with a very smiley welcoming Alda meeting us at the property. Thanks again, we hope to be back one day.

Big villa, good for large group

The property has an attractive top floor and good seating outside and lovely views of the Douro. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. There are no facilities downstairs at all, no fridge, bin, kettle for example. So living separately isn’t possible. The pool is a good size and a lovely addition to the property. The villa isn't 15 minutes from Porto, nearer 25 +, also please be aware that parking in Porto in summer is very challenging so plan accordingly. Liliana was very helpful, and used google translate to great effect, she cooked for us which was great but do check costs before hand as it escalated and double the food ended being prepared (and paid for) than was requested. All in all, it's a good place for families who very much want to holiday together. Portugal was lovely and the area is very pretty. We visited local river beaches and the supermarket in Medas is a useful place to do a big shop.

Estupenda casa con piscina y vistas maravillosas

A la llegada nos esperaban para explicarnos todo, y había en el salón un obsequio de bienvenida (que no es habitual). Las habitaciones bien, las camas cómodas. La cocina bien equipada. Tan solo faltaba mobiliario de exterior, había sólo para 8 personas, pero nos permitieron sacar sillas del salón. La piscina con vistas al Guadiana espectacular. Pasamos unos días estupendos, la recomendamos.

Just returned home from a fantastic week in Portugal. This property has the most stunning views of the river, it really was the wow factor when we woke up on the first morning! Great for a large group and well equipt, perfect location just 5 mins off the morotway with quick access to Porto and local beaches and Amarante water park 30 mins away. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Propriété agréable pour une famille ou entre amis. Proximité de porto. Chambres spacieuses. La climatisation dans le logement principal est une plus-value. Le plus : logement du bas compris dans la location mais séparé et indépendant. Très pratique pour des ados. Femme de ménage disponible et avenante. Le moins : des équipements usagés (parasol, grille-pain, machine à café…). Les photos ne sont pas à jour notamment le patio. Déjeuner extérieur difficile à cause du manque d ombre ou de protection solaire.
