The house was clean and well stocked with everything that you would need. The beds were comfortable. The property is beautiful with a stream in the backyard. The location is good with stores and restaurants nearby. Recommend the Choo Choo Barbecue. Close to Lookout Mt, and Chattanooga. We were in town for our granddaughter’s softball tournament and this location worked well. Would recommend this place.

We were in the Chickamauga area to visit the Chickamauga National Battlefield and Lookout Mountain. We enjoyed the day we spent in Chattanooga and visited the Tennessee Aquarium, IMAX, Incline Railroad, Rock City and Battle Above The Clouds. This home was the perfect location for all we did in this area. The home is in town with plenty of restaurants nearby and a nice Food Lion. We enjoyed the very clean home, fully stocked kitchen, clean washer and dryer and comfortable beds. Two full bathrooms made it very nice. There were plenty of towels and washcloths as well. My husband and son enjoyed evenings fishing at the little creek located on the property. The only improvement I would make to the house is adding a pull-down shade on the kitchen glass door as the property is located right next to and shares parking with the Lee and Gordon Mills which is a public area and people do stop in to go fishing. Adding privacy at that door would be a plus. The listing does mention a Smart TV, but there is only cable TV. I only mention that because it’s listed in the property description although we didn’t mind not having one. I only had to contact the host one time to get clarification on the WiFi and he answered promptly. All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful time in the Chickamauga area and, if we ever pass through that way again, we would definitely stay at this great home.

The house was very clean. It is just as described online. The host was very nice. The property is perfect for kids to run and play, also there is a lot of history on the property.

Everything looked exactly as pictured. It was very clean and my 2 kids loved it. (One is 8 and one is 9 months so it is crawl friendly inside.) The grounds are awesome my oldest and husband enjoyed walking around. Lots of neat things within 20 mins and the Mexican restaurant on the square was awesome.

This was a perfect stay for our weekend trip. Cute and cozy, and a beautiful stream behind the house and the property has an interesting history. Would stay again.

Wonderful Stay

This a perfect property to relax. You are close enough to the stores and restaurants, yet its set in an area away from the busy town. Downtown is a short distance away and it is a quaint little town that is peaceful to walk in. Our family will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area Reasonably priced and easy check-in.

Good value

Worked well for our group. Our children were in a soccer tournament in Chatanooga. This was more affordable than the hotel was and worked better.

Location is great! House was very clean! Just as described! I would be great if the ensuite bedroom had a queen bed. Also, the motion activated light switch in the master bath is annoying. Thanks for a great stay!

Oh we want to definitely come back😊

So peaceful beautiful everything is right there we only left to go to store and out to eat. We had small birthday party for my sister and this was just the perfect place. Not one complaint. We didn't want to leave. We went to the battlefield museum it was awesome 💯 we may book longer next year.

Home was difficult to find. A better description/directions would be helpful. 3 small steps up to the property were problematic. I arrived after dark. Attempting to get my suitcase up them, I fell and fractured my arm--surgery next week. Other than that, the home was clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house in Chickamauga, which is located on the property of Lee and Gordon’s Mills, previously a grist mill. The entire property was immensely well kept, and the house that we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and supplied everything we could possibly need during our stay. We enjoyed being located on the outskirts of Chattanooga instead of in the center of a highly trafficked area. We were there for an extended week end to visit Delano, Tennessee, and ride the Hiawassee loop train. The house was conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go. There were nearby restaurants, grocery, and drug stores. We contacted the host one time and quickly received a response to our request. We will definitely reserve the house in the future for our Chattanooga visits.

My daughters wedding

I fell in love with the Lee and Gordon Mill. It was what sold me on the site. We reserved the Wallace Building for a wedding reception. Our staying in the Chickamauga Lee and Gordon’s Mills Historic Pierce House was absolutely perfect. The surrounding grounds were absolutely perfect. My daughter’s wedding took place at Cloudland Canyon State Park with guests staying in Chattanooga and Trenton. Chickamauga was a perfect middle spot for everyone. I would definitely recommend

Family Christmas vacation

This place was more then what we expected. The home was cozy and a welcoming feeling. The view of the mill was beautiful at sunrise and sunset. If I was to rate on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 10 x 20. We are planning on staying here again for our summer vacation. The price was just a added bonus.

everything was as expected. disappointed in the water pressure of showers. wasnt aware of providing our own laundry soap. only enough there for one load.

Nice getaway

I believe the online summary was a bit overrated! It says you can swim, fish and kayak yet there are signs posted that tell you none of that is allowed. We were also led to believe the mill was open and running for tours but it indeed was not. It is empty buildings. It was a nice place and we would definitely consider staying again. We just had higher hopes due to what we read online

Lovely little house

This little house was perfect for our family trip to Ruby Falls and the Tennessee Aquarium! A pleasant 20 min drive from each wasn't bad at all. We found some good little local restaurants in the area and enjoyed walking down to the little river on the property. The house was clean and just the right size for our family of 6 (4 adults, a teen and a baby) My only suggestions would be to add some black out curtains for the bedrooms that face the road so headlights don't shine in at night. A full size coffee pot would be nice too. With 4 coffee drinkers in our family the little 4 cup pot wasn't ideal. The host was quick to respond and accommodating when I asked for an early check in since we were traveling with an infant. We would definitely stay here again.
