Le Pervenche Cottage est un charmant cottage dans les bois avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Le Pervenche Cottage est niché dans les bois au-dessus d'une crique à un kilomètre au sud de la pointe nord de l'île Campobello et à quelques minutes de marche du magnifique phare East Quoddy Head Harbor et du quai de Head Harbour où des bateaux de pêche en activité débarquent et Whale Watch Tours transportent des passagers. . Le phare East Quoddy Head est l'un des plus photographiés au monde. À marée basse, vous pouvez marcher sur le fond de l'océan pour vous rendre sur l'île où se trouve le phare. Le bigorneau est un cottage de 2 pièces avec une grande terrasse pour l'observation des oiseaux et des baleines et une belle vue sur la baie de Pasaquoddy. Profitez des repas en plein air avec les aigles et les balbuzards volant au-dessus de la tête et le son des baleines se nourrissant dans la crique ci-dessous. Les baleines ont souvent des vues rapprochées faciles en été et au début de l'automne. Other than the fact that the coffee maker took two hours to make a pot everything was great. Location was perfect for going to the light house at low tide. Beds were comfortable and the view from the master was amazing.

Everything was great at this wonderful property. Dennis does it right! We had a Minke what out front every morning and other notable wildlife experiences. We love Campobello and we’ll be back.

Perfect Getaway!

We loved our stay at Periwinkle. It was super cute and the view was amazing. We sat on the porch watching the eagles for hours! The screened porch was lovely and a great spot to work a puzzle. Dennis was super helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to our return visit.

Everything we had hoped for.

Cottage is rustic and cozy. It was equipped with everything we needed, and then some. The location is great; close to the lighthouse and restaurants. The property is very quiet and relaxing. We loved the screened in porch and the view. Periwinkle cottage is a great place to go to “get away from it all”. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Accommodations were clean. Great view of the ocean. Had a minor issue with the tub not draining well but owner had a plumber out the same day. Great communication. No complaints at all. We're already thinking of our next trip with family.

An amazing gem

Spent five days here. The cabin is small but cozy and is clean. The best part is the screen in porch and the deck off that. I really enjoyed sitting at the waters edge looking for whales. 144 whale sightings in the five days I was there. I looked for whales every morning for four hours and five hours in afternoon into evening. Such a relaxing place to stay. I will definitely come back

We are so happy that our guests had such a great time and got to see what those who have visited already know. This stretch of Campobello Island is home to 4 of the best views in the area and the wildlife like whales, eagles and seals is amazing. Our guests treated the cottage and property as if it were their own and we would highly recommend them to others who rent vacation homes. Looking forward to your return! Perfect Getaway

The Oceanfront Cottage on Campobello Island is a perfect getaway: Nicely private with neighbors tucked away behind trees and shrubs, it’s located a short drive from Campobello museum and lighthouse and several restaurants. The house absolutely delightful! The deck, garden fire pit, and master bedroom all have a stunning view of the Bay of Fundy. The kitchen is well-equipped. NOTE: bring your groceries because the only store we could find had extremely sparse offerings.

Wonderful, special get away

We had a fabulous time on Campobello Island, in large part because of our amazing accommodations. The Periwinkle house is amazing - so well appointment, thoughtfully decorated, terrific host, great towels and pillows, and the VIEW! Super clean, location is perfect, we loved all of it. Campobello at its finest.

We loved our stay at Periwinkle cottage on Campobello. It was just the two of us and it is quaint and charming and well supplied. The weather didn't cooperate with our stay but that didn't matter. The cottage is right down the street from the Lighthouse and close to The Pier Restaurant which is great. If you want to try out Campobello, give this cottage a try.

We first came to Campobello Island in 1988 and started renting to visitors in 1989. We are from Evansville, Indiana and came the first year with an infant and a 3 year old. We get to enjoy every summer for about 10 days with our 8 grandchildren and our two grown children and their spouses. LIKE US ON FACEBOOK AT CAMPOBELLO ISLAND OCEANFRONT COTTAGES!

We own four of these cottages on Lighthouse Road overlooking the ocean. What makes our cottages unique is they were all privately owned cottage residences until we purchased them. They are on there own properties and are private from one another. The cottages are not right next to each other with no privacy. Read the reviews! You will be sold on the difference between our private cottages and others.
