Wonderful stay

Very nice location on the water. Our family enjoyed the campfires, well stocked kitchen and comfort of the house. Scotti and Angela were responsive and helpful.

Memorable vacation

The Bayview Cottage is a very comfortable home that provides a great launching pad for exploring the International Park beaches and the island of Campobello. The deck overlooking the water is wonderful for relaxing in between beach combing and hiking. The house has everything we needed. Thank you!

Lovely!

The house had lots of space and everything you need for a great stay: lots of kitchenware, puzzles, satellite tv, books, washer/dryer. We spent hours on the covered porch watching the water. There was lots of space for our family of 5. We played wiffle ball on the lawn, had a fire on the beach, and relaxed. Wonderful stay on a beautiful island.

We're never disappointed

Been coming to Campobello since the late 60's and have always enjoyed it here. We've been staying at this wonderful home year after year and the only problem is when the vacation comes to an end and we have to leave. We stayed this year July 15 through July 22 and can't wait for next year. Love the back deck that overlooks the bay. The home is very spacious and neat. Its always a pleasure to deal with Scotti. As usual, the best stay here.

Jerry and Scotti, we can never get enough of staying at your home here on Campobello. The views never get old. The fog and foghorns, never get tired of them. The seaglass hunting all over the island, that's our go-to thing to do. The only thing I dont like about the island, and my pet peeve about the house is...... having to pack up to go home when vacation's over. Gotcha, thought I was going to say something bad didnt you, never. Three weeks this year was better than previous but it's still sad to go. Thanks Jerry and Scotti for another great year and look forward to next year..

A gem!

Bayview is a lovely, comfortable "cottage." with a wonderful deck and gorgeous view! Scotti has stocked the kitchen and whole place with everything we needed, from spices and a good quality coffee maker to blankets to take the chill off on the deck. It is a peaceful place and the local caretaker was over in a flash when we couldn't find spare lightbulbs, which were over the laundry. Don't miss Tea with Eleanor, East Quoddy lightstation (we saw a bald eagle and a golden eagle,) the enthusiastic naturalist at Mullholland lighthouse and the gorgeous trail at West Quoddy lighthouse over the border. Great food at Frank's in Lubec and seals frolicking off the deck. Tons of wonderful old Victorians all over and Eastport is a great little town for a day trip-architecture, shops with work of local artisans, good restaurant, coffee shop, dream little library. Don't miss Liberty Point on Campobello or the beaches with tons of the most colorful, interesting rocks I've ever seen. We had an amazing week at Bayview! My husband and I have rented many places in 27 years and Bayview was the best.

Wonderful Repose

We had a great week at Bay View Cottage. It was quiet and we loved watching the ever changing ocean and occasional wildlife. The cottage had every amenity to make for convenient meal prep and comfortable sleeping arrangements. It was delightful! We’re definitely going back!

Great place for family

We really enjoyed the space of the house. Their was my wife and I plus daughter and two grandsons. The boys had fun flying kites and going to the shore line at low tide looking for sea glass and other things. Nice fire pit for evening fires to enjoy. The island also is a great place for biking and hiking. The house had everything we needed. Also had a DVD player so we watched some movies. Great location and the back yard was awesome.

As soon as we drove in the driveway we fell in love with the rental.

Absolutely loved our week their. The home was absolutely gorgeous with all the amenities of home. The view from the deck was close to a million dollar view. We would highly recommend this rental to everyone.

A beautiful place to stay.

We had a terrific time. We would start our days, late I might add due to the oceans effect on sleeping late, going to Lubec we would poke around there, followed by visiting campobellos many fantastic beaches, hiking trails, the lighthouses, FDR's cottage, and the cottages own backyard beach looking for seaglass, which you will find in abundance. We would spend our afternoons sitting on the back deck watching the ferries, whale watching, fishing boats, and sunsets, etc... The house was very clean, extremely comfortable, well stocked with anything you may need, and very spacious. We loved the master bedroom upstairs, the wonderful views of the bay, the lights of Eastport at night and cool breezes from the ocean. This house has everything you may need for your trip. We have stayed on the island for years and have never enjoyed a home or location as much as we did with the bay view cottage. I wish to thank the Dixon's for sharing their home with us. We can't wait to return next summer. Ps. We already booked it. Thank you again, Bobby, Robyn and our little four legged part of the family Kiki. NH.

Great Cottage in a Fantastic Location

We recently spent a week in this cottage and can't wait to go back! The cottage had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The entire place was extremely clean with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the appliances were all modern. We enjoyed the views off the back deck all week long. The access to the beach to search for sea glass was wonderful. As the island is small, this location is great for any of the activities. I would recommend visiting Campobello Island to anyone. The Bayview Cottage is an awesome place to stay while there!

Incredibly beautiful location!

Beautiful house w/all the amenities--gorgeous views from every window, spacious yard leads down to the water. Campobello Is. is a friendly, lovely, historic place, well worth a lengthy visit.

The best place to stay on Campobello

4 mature adults in this lovely 3 bedroom home. The views were just amazing. The house was very well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

What makes this property unique

Comfortable historic Victorian, where you will relish the sunsets that drew FDR to this summer island years ago. You will love the back deck, which overlooks rocky shores littered with sea glass and drift wood. Many summer guests watch whales and ships right in front of the house, and take pictures of bald eagles and seals, especially at low tide (there are 26 foot tidal changes every 6 hours).
