Whether it's the rich early-American history, or the scenic beauty of the Appalachian foothills, The Homestead is the best place to start your adventure into the Hocking Hills!
While the 23 acre farm itself dates back to the late Civil War Era, The Homestead is an updated farmhouse, at the front of the property, that still holds charming reminders of it's approximately 130 years on the farm. The Homestead also sits alongside the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail, the route Confederate Brigadier General Morgan took during his raid on Southern OH.
With it's rolling pastures, petite orchard and grapevines, and the staple white picket fence, it's too easy to get lost in a daydream on the screened-in back porch.
The fenced in area is a great place for your family pet to run, and the shared trails and fishing pond are a great place to kill time. In the evenings, you can unwind by the fire ring out back, or relax in the hot tub on the patio.
The Homestead is also centrally located to everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer!
