About Kate Nadolski and Bart Kolenda
This condo was my first home. As a twenty something year old, I found the job I wanted to make my career, so I bought this condo to reduce my commute from 45 to 12 minutes. The second room was meant for my brother who was in a failing marriage and I knew would need a place to stay. He ended up buying a condo 2 minutes down from this on Northwest Hwy. He still lives there and actually drives for Lyft if you need a ride... lol! After four years I got married and the second bedroom became my step daughter's. My husband is very good at contract work (he renovated the brown bathroom and tiled the kitchen and backsplash). So after watching too much HGTV, we decided to buy a home in the nearby suburb Bensenville. We over-renovated it and could not get our asking price, so we decided to move in and try renting this condo as an alternative. After the first week in the Bensenville house, I learned that I was pregnant. Now the larger home fits my growing family, leaving my beautiful condo available for your enjoyment!

Why Kate Nadolski and Bart Kolenda chose Edison Park
Walking distance to bars, restaurant, dancing, shopping and the major rail lines of Chicago this is a great location. Since it is the furthest part of the City of Chicago, the demographic is mostly young adults 25-35 with acess to all the fun nightlife, but not the young drunk drama that the city can bring. Also, the neighborhood residence are police and fireman making it very safe at all hours. It is also minutes from O'hare airport.

Cozy and convenient!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was very cozy and in a convenient location. I lived in the area before I relocated so it was great to stay in the neighborhood!
Nice and comfortable condo
We were on vacation in Chicago, and wanted a place for two couples. This condo was perfect with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living area and well equipped kitchen.
We liked the place the moment we stepped in, it shows that the owners pay close attention to details and really care about making your stay enjoyable.
Urban Oasis is very close to the airport, and about a 30 min from downtown (we figured it would be easier than taking the train or bus).
Bart was very responsive and made sure we were able to reach him, and of course answered our questions in a matter of minutes.
I will definitively recommend this condo to anyone who wants to visit Chicago, and stay in a nice place at a very reasonable price.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us! It is vital to our business. We hope to have you come stay with us again in the future.

Exactly as described, spotless & easy access.
The smoker downstairs was not at all an issue - could not smell it often or anywhere other than the entry area. Owners accessible and responsive to the only minor issue we had. Very clean. Nice area.

Hope to host you again in the future.
Had a great time wonderful place to stay!
Far from an Oasos
The condo is in a great location. Easy to get to the trains for downtown. This unit needs a lot of TLC. This place could be reel cute if remodeling was done right. There is a lot of smokers in the building and the smoke smell migrates right through the building. New entry doors need to be installed with decent weather stripping. The door leading from the hallway to the back stairs where you would park, the door jam is all busted up, as it looks like someone tried to break in at one time. There is not a toaster.
Thank you for the feedback, but a 2 star? We can’t help the neighbor downstairs that smokes (really wish we could!). Thank you for bringing up the idea of weather stripping on the door and toaster. We will make those changes. Regarding the cleanliness, location, other amenities and services it seemed like your written review that you left at the condo was very good. We thank you for your feedback but must ask if you really think your critiques are worthy of a 2 star. We ask that you please reconsider this rating as it’s detrimental to our business.
Overall great experience!
My daughter, 3 grandkids and I just stayed at this location.
Good: The apartment was clean and spacious, which was exactly what I wanted. Entry/exit was easy and there was coffee, tea and other items available. There was also great directions posted and extra linens and towels, etc for use. Nice area and owners left restaurant and other attraction suggestions, which was helpful.
Suggested changes: I was super concerned with the glass tables and pretty, but fragile, decorations around my grandkids. I was also a little worried about being loud on the hardwood floor since there was an apartment below. A rug could help with keeping noise down. It would have also been helpful to have had a toaster for the morning. (We ended up walking to the Dunkin Donuts across the street.)
Great value for the price. A little further away from downtown Chicago than expected (and traffic was horrendous) but now having stayed there and spent time in the area, we would definitely stay again.
