About Kate Nadolski and Bart Kolenda
This condo was my first home. As a twenty something year old, I found the job I wanted to make my career, so I bought this condo to reduce my commute from 45 to 12 minutes. The second room was meant for my brother who was in a failing marriage and I knew would need a place to stay. He ended up buying a condo 2 minutes down from this on Northwest Hwy. He still lives there and actually drives for Lyft if you need a ride... lol! After four years I got married and the second bedroom became my step daughter's. My husband is very good at contract work (he renovated the brown bathroom and tiled the kitchen and backsplash). So after watching too much HGTV, we decided to buy a home in the nearby suburb Bensenville. We over-renovated it and could not get our asking price, so we decided to move in and try renting this condo as an alternative. After the first week in the Bensenville house, I learned that I was pregnant. Now the larger home fits my growing family, leaving my beautiful condo available for your enjoyment!

Why Kate Nadolski and Bart Kolenda chose Edison Park
Walking distance to bars, restaurant, dancing, shopping and the major rail lines of Chicago this is a great location. Since it is the furthest part of the City of Chicago, the demographic is mostly young adults 25-35 with acess to all the fun nightlife, but not the young drunk drama that the city can bring. Also, the neighborhood residence are police and fireman making it very safe at all hours. It is also minutes from O'hare airport.

Overall great experience!
My daughter, 3 grandkids and I just stayed at this location.
Good: The apartment was clean and spacious, which was exactly what I wanted. Entry/exit was easy and there was coffee, tea and other items available. There was also great directions posted and extra linens and towels, etc for use. Nice area and owners left restaurant and other attraction suggestions, which was helpful.
Suggested changes: I was super concerned with the glass tables and pretty, but fragile, decorations around my grandkids. I was also a little worried about being loud on the hardwood floor since there was an apartment below. A rug could help with keeping noise down. It would have also been helpful to have had a toaster for the morning. (We ended up walking to the Dunkin Donuts across the street.)
Great value for the price. A little further away from downtown Chicago than expected (and traffic was horrendous) but now having stayed there and spent time in the area, we would definitely stay again.
We loved the neighborhood and the spacious apartment for our Chicago adventure!
We took a long weekend for a Chicago road trip with some friends. We needed space for several adults, wanted parking, and didn’t want to have to drive through the city on our first night. Urban Oasis was a great find! Not only was it affordable, but it also had the sleeping spaces we needed and two bathrooms. The neighborhood was great and we found some gems close by: Superdawg hot dog drive-in, Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza, Beer on the Wall, and the Leaning Tower of Niles. Best perk: 24/7 Dunkin Donuts right across the street! We also drove into the city for two full days of exploring and eating! Urban Oasis was a great home base for our long weekend and had everything we needed to hang out, get ready for our day, and have a few drinks and snacks at the end of the night. Would highly recommend!
The pictures don't do this place justice, everything was organized very well and the hosts were very friendly and approachable. This was my first ever HomeAway experience and I can honestly say that this place was a great start, amazingly clean and in such a convenient location, with a gas station and a Dunkin' Donuts that's open 24/7 within walking distance! Definitely declared to come back and stay here the next time I am in Chicago, no other location would compare!
Stayed at the Urban Oasis for an expo we attended at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center. It's a great place to stay. Bart and Kate are wonderful hosts. You want to stay here.
Enjoyed the place, the neighborhood was amazing! Felt safe enough to walk to several restaurants..
It was comfortable, clean and easily accessible to nearby restaurants and bars. I would recommend this to friends and family!
Very Convenient Location
We recently stayed at this property for 2 nights. This condo was well-appointed, very clean and close to dining, shopping, train station and O'Hare International Airport. We would definitely stay at this property again during a future trip to the Chicago area.
