Charming stone house right near the forest

Our family came to Noisy mostly to boulder in Fontainebleau. We had a lovely time staying in Helene's gite. The location is perfect and everything was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat and walking right into Forest. We had a wonderful visit!

Great location but dirty and needs maintenance

The building is lovely and in a quiet street close to bouldering areas. Unfortunately on our arrival we were greeted by a very strong cooking smell in the house, there were stains on the bedsheets and sofa, mould in the shower and on bathroom walls, hair blocking the shower drain so the water was overflowing, and generally needing a deep clean.The fixtures are all a bit dated and could do with replacing, peeling paintwork, noisy leaking boiler onto kitchen counter.The photos differ from what's there, different furniture, metal outside table replaced with plastic etc It could be beautiful but needs maintenance and better cleaning procedures.

Bonjour. je suis vraiment désolée que vous ayez subi tous ces désagréments. je vous ai apporté d'autres draps, car en effet il ya avait une tache qui n'était pas partie au lavage. pour m'excuser je vous ai offert les frais de ménage. pour le reste je regrette que vous ne m'en ayez pas parlé durant votre séjour et de découvrir tout cela seulement maintenant. C'est la 1ère fois que j'ai un commentaire négatif. je vais tenir compte de vos remarques. cordialement Hélène

Séjour agréable

Gite bien aménagé, confortable. Possibilité de manger ou lire dehors dans le petit jardin devant la maison. Cuisine avec tout ce qu’il faut pour préparer les repas. Literie confortable. C’est une vieille maison qui reste fraîche en cas de canicule. Le village est très calme. Il faut aller dans la ville voisine pour faire les courses, à 4 km. La seule chose un peu gênante est le manque de réseau téléphonique. Les portables ne passent pas depuis le gîte. Heureusement le wifi marche bien. L’hôtesse Hélène est très sympathique.

Superplatz bei Fontainebleau :-)

Hélene und auch ihr Vater sind unkompliziert, die Kommunikation funktioniert einfach und reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist schön kühl, sie ist gut ausgestattet, mit einem Gasherd, einem großen Kühlschrank und allem, was so notwendig ist (sogar einer Salatschleuder) Alles, was in der Beschreibung steht, stimmt, auch die Fotos. Zu zweit hat man jede Menge Platz und wir werden sicher wiederkommen!! :-)

Très chouette séjour

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine post-confinement dans ce gîte très confortable. Beaucoup de belles balades à faire en forêt mais aussi de jolis villages de caractère à visiter dans les environs. Très bonne communication avec Hélène, notre hôte. Tout était parfait.

Die Hütte im Wald

Wir als fünf-köpfige Familie fanden den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Man konnte gut nach Paris fahren und dort auch Sehenswürdigkeiten besichtigen. Die Wohnung war etwas klein jedoch gemütlich.

Wonderful place to stay in a lovely area

We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely gite. It had everything we could need and was just minutes from a beautiful forest where we could go climbing and walking. A perfect place to stay.

Très bonne

Le gîte était propre à notre arrivée. Il correspondait en tous points à sa description sur le site (nous l'avons même trouvé plus spacieux que sur les photos). Il est chaleureux et bien équipé.Les propriétaires ont été super sympas et accueillants. La carte IGN et de la documentation étaient disponibles.Nous avons été visiter le Cyclop. La forêt des Trois Pignons était toute proche, nous y avons fait de belles promenades. Nous y retournerions volontiers. Nous recommanderions vivement cette location à un ami.

Perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and cosy apartment. We especially loved using the bikes and the barbecue. The village is very nice - and the sunset behind the wood is perfect! Great boulder areas are within walking and cycling distance. Helene and her family are very kind. Hope to see you again. Thanks for everything!!
