Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, nestled between the largest mountain range in Ireland, the Twelve Bens, and Galway Bay in the heart of Connemara rests this beautiful, remodeled holiday home. With prime location on the Coast Road, enjoy site seeing in the countrywide or a scenic trip into town. This lovely home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 9 comfortably. 1 bedroom and ensuite on the ground floor. Completing this countryside cottage are a dining room and living room, both with breath taking views of the sea. The living room enjoys the complements of a solid wood burning stove as well as a television with cable and WIFI. This home also has modern conveniences such as oil heating for the comforts of a proper retreat. A great escape for a family vacation or any vacation! We apologize for any inconvenience, but no pets please.

Ein einmalig schönes und geräumiges Haus mit schönen Zimmern, toller Küche samt Ausstattung (zerkratze Pfanne wurde umgehend ersetzt) und super Wohnzimmer. Absolut geeignet für eine große Familie oder Freundeskreise. Vom Haus hat man einen direkten Blick auf das Wasser und die gegenüberliegenden Halbinseln Camus und Rosmuck. Der Bruder der Vermieterin wohnt nebenan und ist super hilfsbereit, sogar mit einer kleine Reparatur am Auto konnte er uns weiterhelfen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an Una und Mike

We loved our vacation at the house. It was the perfect base for day trips to Galway (50min) and to explore Connemara. The house is located at a fast, but not too busy road. Nevertheless you can't just walk out for a stroll with the kids and would definitely need a car. The house was well equipped and Una and her brother (lives next door) helped us out with a new toaster right away. Towels are provided as well, although we washed them before using. The house was clean enough for our family (with two little ones, we're used to crumps everywhere). However, others mind find it a little "dusty" especially under the furniture. All in all we had a great time at the house und would come back!

A very fine, cosy and spacious family holiday house for a bigger family in a splendid location

All very well / impeccable indeed. We loved the splendid isolation in the gorgeous Connemara area. Own transportation is recommended.

Excellent Base

Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites.

Un cottage très bien équipé ( cafetière Nespresso pour le café), une bonne literie. Bien situé pour tous nos departs de balade à la découverte du Connemara. Une jolie vue sur la baie.Manquerait peut être un lave vaisselle quand on est plusieurs

Schönes Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend

Das Haus war toll. Es hatte alles was man benötigt. Der Ausblick vor dem Haus war wunderschön und in der Nähe gab es auch einen Aussichtspunkt, wo man den Weitblick über die Gegend hatte. Das Haus ist sehr groß mit 4 Personen hatten wir übermäßig Platz. Der Nachbar war super freundlich und hat süße Kälber auf seinem Anwesen, die man auch sogar streicheln darf.

Amazing

An ideal place to relax with family. Nice and big house. The house has absolutely everything you might need. Very beautiful nature. The lake and many swans impressed. Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely come back.

We had a great week in Connemara and the house was fantastic! A shoutout to Michael (Una’s brother), who was very helpful and pleasant. We recommend visiting Glengowla Mines and Kylemore Abbey.
