Thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed your time despite couple of concerns. I apologize for any inconveniences. As per description of amenities, there is split A/C unit in LR and has to be operated manually. Remote function was damaged due to climate conditions and little creatures getting inside unit Universal remote not compatible. I appreciated this being brought to my attention meaning that I need to be sure all my guests are aware of how to access the A/C. However as you stated and so has past guests, the ceiling fans helps maintain comfort levels especially if one keeps the house open via screen doors and windows to allow trade winds in. With the exception of businesses, hotels and a few condos, central and split A/C are not that common in private residences. I agreed that water pressure is not as great stateside. Issue has been addressed and unfortunately not within my control. As described per rental agreement, water is collected and stored in cisterns like majority of residences. which means the water pressure will not be to what we are accustomed. Despite all, I am glad you would consider returning and again, I thank you for bringing these concerns to my attention.

Yes, driving on the left takes a bit getting used to. Property description does mention a car is necessary. But I'm glad you still enjoyed your stay. I hope you will return and I'll be sure to have a taxi referral for you. Thanks!

Thank you for your honest review and welcome to St. Thomas. I am sorry that your stay did not meet your standards. Unfortunately mosquitoes are an inherent part of tropical climates and bad roads as well. Private roads especially are not under residents' control let alone managed by government. Full disclosure regarding the air conditioner was provided in the rental/house rules agreement. Regretfully the back door is tricky but simply needs to be pushed or pulled depending which side of the door you're facing and then it will latch and lock. The deadbolt was the best way to secure that door. Based on your input, I will provide additional alternatives for mosquito control. Also, I agree, that further disclosure about heat sensitivity is warranted and even consider portable A/Cs. Air conditioners in most private homes are not common due to really exorbitant power bills and would require higher nightly rates.
