Rustic Cabin - Year Round Lake View

The perfect couples retreat! This rustic cabin is designed around outdoor enjoyment. A large walk-around deck has a great lake view and leads to a furnished screened-in porch. A covered sitting area looks out to a large fire ring for evening fun. (firewood is provided)
The inside is finished with rough cut cedar and open rafters. The modern furnishings bring an element of sophisticated and cozy. Large master bedroom with king size bed and reading area with views to the lake. Full bath. Living room and fully stocked kitchen complete the cabin. Gas grill on the rear deck.
A public boat launch is located below the property off Shinbone Road. Limited parking available at ramp area for swimming or overnight boat parking. The boat dock located off the Shinbone ramp is locked and private. (Please do not tie up boats here or hassle the dock owners!) We have a short cut road to the ramp for golf carts and walking back and forth to the water. (Warning - it is a strenuous walk uphill for the return!) Fall Creek Boat Ramp is only 3 miles away. For gas or boat rentals, Conley Bottom Marina is only 5 miles away or just around the bend by boat. Owners live in the house next to the Cabin.

Beautiful, clean. I would suggest supplying bath soap and a bottle brush for washing the coffee pot and dropping off clean towels and washcloths for 3-4 day guests. There is about to be a stinkbug problem in the doorways that might bother people.

Sweet cabin

Cabin was well designed, beautifully decorated and maintained. Pictures do not do it justice. I had hoped to be in a more secluded spot, but it was fine. I would stay there again, 100%.

Very clean, cozy, and home-like. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space, and a great view of the lake! The neighborhood was quiet and private, and there was plenty of parking. 10/10, will stay again!

This lovely cabin is the perfect spot to come home to after being on the lake all day! Close to CBR, it has a KING size bed - hard to find in rentals - and a full kitchen. The best part is the lovely screened in porch! Clean and easy checkin. I would recommend this to any couple looking to come to lake Cumberland!

Perfect weekend getaway

This was our second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend trip. We love the proximity to Conley Bottom marina and enjoyed floating in the cove from the nearby boat ramp. The lake views from the deck are fantastic and we especially enjoyed drinking our coffee in the screened porch in the mornings. Would highly recommend!

You will not be disappointed

Wonderful, cozy cabin was perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary trip. We rented a pontoon boat, saw some civil war historical sites, and ate the best brisket in our lives at Dunagan's Store. Everything is within 30 minutes. We found the bed extremely comfortable, and all the amenities were just as listed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Relaxation!!

Such a great place for much needed R & R. The view was as perfect and everything about the cottage was just as described. From the open deck to the screened in porch to the fire pit, we enjoyed it all. If we are back in this area again, we would not hesitate to stay here and will recommend it to friends!

Beautiful cabin with a view

Myself and my spouse couldn't have been happier finding this nice little gem of a place. This is the perfect spot for two people nicely tucked away in the woods. The place was extremely clean and well kept. The wrap around porch had a nice view of the lake and also had a nice screened in area with a ceiling fan. The friendly owner Brian happen to be on site and was easily accessible. I would recommend this property to anyone. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Peaceful getaway

Really cute, rustic cabin with nice Lakeview. Very clean & had everything needed for a few days of rest. We LOVED the screened-in porch. Even in hot August temps, we still were able to enjoy the porch & fire pit areas because of the nice ceiling fans. Brian was a good host. Would definitely have given 5 stars rating, but we felt the mattress on the bed really needs replaced.
