Beep beep! Come stay in the Roadrunner Tiny Cabin. Located just 1 ½ miles from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, this vacation rental is on the doorstep of the second largest canyon in the United States! Our cabin offers a unique getaway, surrounded by the West Texas landscape and its amazing wildlife and views. Enjoy the beauty of country living, with the convenience of the town of Canyon just 11 miles away.

The Roadrunner is a small cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a 3’8” x 12’ covered front porch.

It is furnished with a twin-over-full bunk and sleeps 3 people.

It has a bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill. It has a window A/C unit and heater.

Linens and dishes are provided.

Coffee and snacks are provided.

This is your chance to experience tiny cabin living at its best!

The quaintness of this place is unbelievable and you can use the surrounding grounds to meet neighbors and eat outside - suggest bringing bug repellents for outside dining. Since we got one of the smaller cabins, and it was exactly what was advertised, by the way, and perfect for just our needs, spending most of our days at the park. Proximity to park was excellent!!

This is a lovely little cabin. Very efficient, cozy and tidy. The location is wonderful for quick access to Palo Duro and a little store next door. It was very windy, otherwise the little courtyard would have been lovely for sitting outside.

This set of cabins is like an oasis in the middle of the prairie. Trees, shade, games, outdoor seating. This is a really great place to stay when you are visiting Palo Dura Canyon.

If I could give 10 stars for value, I would. The cabin was exactly as described. This place is ideal in terms of location and amenities. If you're looking for a place to hang your hat as you enjoy multiple days in the park, this is definitely the place to stay. It had everything we needed to make hot meals, grill nice dinners, cleanup, and enjoy TV in the evenings as we decompressed. A mile from the park entrance, we were able to get an early start each day to beat the heat and the traffic. Anything you could want from town was a mere 15 minutes away. Tracy was onsite. She was very friendly and eager to assist with our stay. It was just the two of us that ended up making the trip. It might be a little snug for three grown adults but doable if you manage the space right. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.
