About this property

ORANGE in the countryside cosy cottage in property, SPA swimming pool air conditioning wifi parking

In the countryside, 2km from the center of ORANGE, our gîte is located due south, opposite the golf course and its restaurant, not far from the air base, in a 6000m² wooded property.
In season you will feast at will on cherries, apricots, figs, grapes ...
A large private garden will delight children.
A stream runs along the property, you will have a view of Mont Ventoux.

Private parking for 2 vehicles under the car port adjacent to your gîte.

At your disposal a private outdoor SPA 4 pers. (in service at the beginning of APRIL at the end of OCTOBER).
Water renewed on each arrival.

Swimming pool 4mx8m protected by approved barriers to share with apartment 2 pers. completely independent located opposite the farmhouse.
It is located away from the gites for your comfort.

Very large south-facing terrace with garden furniture, parasols, 4 private sun loungers, electric barbecue and plancha overlooking the garden. You will pick aromatic herbs which will flavor salads and grills.

Your 70m² air-conditioned gîte is equipped for 4 people (baby chair and travel cot available). It includes:

A fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle).

Laundry room with washing machine, vacuum cleaner, table and iron ...
Outdoor clothes dryer in full sun and a second shelter.

An air-conditioned living room: library TV lounge, dining room, free mobile and landline phones in mainland France, internet wifi

1 bedroom in 160 with wardrobe.

1 bedroom with 2 single beds with wardrobe.

Shower room with shower, WC, hairdryer.

Linen: sheets, pillowcases and pillow covers, towels and bath, tea towels provided.
Rentals only Saturday to Saturday in July and August.
Non smoking cottage inside.
Our friends the animals are not accepted we have cats.

Perfect property for a week or longer stay in Provence

The property is well located, just a few minutes from the center of Orange. It is roomy and comes equipped with a hot tub and pool. The hosts are very welcoming and extremely helpful. An exceptional place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Provence!

Tolles Holzhaus mit Klimaanlage im parkähnlichen Garten. Eigener Whirlpool, Pool und Blick auf den mt. Ventoux. Selbst das Auto hatte einen schattenplatz. Was will man mehr.

Le petit paradis

Séjour très agréable. Tout était au rendez-vous pour passer de bonnes vacances : la piscine, le jacuzzi et le chalet aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, cosy et très fonctionnel. En prime, une jolie vue sur le Mont ventoux de la fenêtre de notre chambre 😀. Merci à Chantal et Christian pour leur accueil, leur discrétion tout en restant à l’écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances.

Un petit coin de paradis

On se sent comme à la maison! Le chalet est super mignon, très très bien équipé et d’une propreté irréprochable.La piscine et le spa ont été très appréciés( bravo à Christian pour l’entretien).Le parc de la maison est magnifique. Quant aux propriétaires, gentils et discrets, ils se fondent dans ce petit havre de paix.

Heel aangenaam verblijf. Leuk zwembad, zeker voor de kinderen. Hartelijke ontvangst en discrete gastvrouw en gastheer. Af en toe vliegen er straaljagers over, leuk voor de kinderen. Wij hebben dit niet als storend ervaren.

Eigenares Chantal direct, maar erg vriendelijk. Bij aankomst zo'n 20 kruipende vliegen in slaapkamer = komt raar over. Voor het overige was gastenverblijf zeer ok ! VERVELEND : in routebeschrijving boekingskantoor staat 'Afrit Orange NORD nemen', enkel Sud en Centre bestaan, daardoor veel te ver gereden

Another excellent stay

This is our second stay at the chalet. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped. We arrived in the middle of a heat wave and were grateful for the air conditioning and the large swimming pool. Our hosts were very hospitable, very friendly and extremely helpful, offering us the loan of a bike and baskets of freshly picked apricots. We look forward to coming back next year.

A lovely stay

We’ve just spent a lovely week at Chantal and Christian’s. The chalet is very well equipped and comfortable, everything in it well thought through. Our hosts were extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. The grounds are pleasant, with beautiful mature trees and view of the Mont Ventoux. The hot tub was a fun, relaxing, new experience for us. We are now looking forward to also using the swimming pool when we come back in the summer.

This was our second stay at the property. We chose it again and it was every bit as good as the first time. It is so well equipped. Chantal and Christian are so hospitable and anxious for their guests to have a good holiday. The air conditioning was invaluable and the spa and pool are just what you need after a day’s sight seeing. We are now waiting to see what Brexit does to independent travellers such as ourselves to know whether it will make sense to stay again! Now however we have our souvenirs especially Chantal’a fresh figs stored in our freezer.

Fabulous location, great facilities and lovely hosts. The pool is beautiful and great for kids.

We had a wonderful holiday at the lodge. It is set in a lovely plot with great facilities, and we found it perfect with two children. It allowed them the right amount of freedom but they were within sight. The pool is lovely and what a view of Mont Ventoux! We look forward to returning.

A wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Provence

My family and I loved our stay with Chantal and Christian. They were wonderful hosts who made sure we felt very welcome and had everything we needed. The chalet we stayed in was well equipped, very comfortable and just as they had described it. The air conditioning was very effective in what were very high temperatures during our stay (plus 35 degrees!). The garden was peaceful and my wife enjoyed doing yoga every morning while I sat outside and read a book. The pool got lots of use and was a good size for us as a family to use. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting outside to read, eat our dinner and play games. The views of Mont Ventoux, the lonely giant, were marvellous both in the early morning and late evening sun. The property is very well placed for visiting Orange. We had many outings into town. The property has easy access to the motorway and is very well placed for visiting other sites and attractions e.g. Pont du Gard, Nimes, Avignon, Carpentras, Chateaxneuf-du-pape, Gordes and Mont Ventoux. We will certainly book here again when we next visit Provence! Thank you Chantal and Christian. Ma famille et moi avons adoré notre séjour avec Chantal et Christian. Ils étaient des hôtes formidables qui ont fait en sorte que nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le chalet dans lequel nous étions restés était bien équipé, très confortable et comme ils l'avaient décrit. La climatisation était très efficace dans des températures très élevées pendant notre séjour (plus 35 degrés!). Le jardin était paisible et ma femme aimait faire du yoga tous les matins pendant que je m'asseyais dehors et lisais un livre. La piscine a beaucoup utilisé et était une bonne taille pour nous en famille à utiliser. Le soir, nous avons aimé nous asseoir dehors pour lire, manger notre dîner et jouer à des jeux. Les vues du mont Ventoux, le géant solitaire, étaient merveilleuses tôt le matin et tard le soir. La propriété est très bien placée pour visiter Orange. Nous avons fait beaucoup de sorties en ville. La propriété a un accès facile à l'autoroute et est très bien placé pour visiter d'autres sites et attractions, par ex. Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Avignon, Carpentras, Châteaxneuf-du-Pape, Gordes et Mont Ventoux. Nous reviendrons certainement ici lors de notre prochaine visite en Provence! Merci Chantal et Christian.

Fantastic

Everything was first class Chantal and Christian gave us a wonderful reception and we felt at home straight away. The property was very comfortable and well equipped.Orange is an excellent centre to explore Provence. We will certainly stay again when we have another's holiday in Provence. Fantastic gite, lovely hosts!

We had a lovely week chez Chantal & Christian! The gite was everything we hoped for, clean, well equipped and exactly like the photos. The swimming pool and hot tub were well kept and well appreciated by us! Chantal and Christian are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Their hospitality throughout was fantastic (and also discreet). We took up the kind offer of the fused glass workshop and came home with a beautiful piece of artwork which we shall treasure. There is lots to do in the area, particularly if you are interested in vineyards and ancient monuments. A well deserved 5 stars and a huge thank you to Chantal & Christian from all of us.

Une pépite à garder pour soi

C'est typiquement le genre d'endroit qu'on a envie de garder pour soi de peur que d'autres le réservent quand nous voudrons nous y rendre ! :-) Le gîte est très joli, tout y est propre et de bon goût. Et rien ne manque ! On dispose de beaucoup d'espace, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. La localisation est parfaite aussi, à quelques minutes d'Orange, tout en étant à l'écart de la ville, et proche de Vaison-la-Romaine, Gigondas... Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et accueillants, et pas du tout envahissants ! Ils font tout pour que vous vous sentiez vraiment en vacances, cela n'a pas de prix ! Bref, c'est parfait, on a adoré ! Et pour la 1ère fois, nous envisageons de retourner au même endroit l'année suivante... J'arrête là, j'en ai déjà trop dit :-)
