Family friendly retreat

Morris Lane was the perfect place to enjoy a few days with extended family. There were plenty of comfortable beds, the open concept living space was great for spending time together, and the layout accommodated all of our meals and activities. The host was easy to communicate with and provided all of the information we needed. The facilities were clean and well equipped.

Family Fun at the Cottage

This was our first year renting a cottage together as a Family, and we are doing it a gain next year. Tommy's cottage was perfect, enough room for everyone to sleep, spread out and do their own thing, and didn't feel on top of one another on the day it rained. It's absolutely beautiful here.

Winter retreat

My family had a great time staying here. The rooms upstairs are comfortable and have amazing views of the frozen lake. We were able to skate on the lake as well. We enjoyed the fire pit every night. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Nice cozy living area for a family to enjoy. The small road to the house wasn’t plowed or salted, which made it a very treacherous feat to walk anywhere around, but Tommy left salt we could use for the areas around the cottage.

Had a great time

We enjoyed our stay at Tommy’s. It’s a nice spacious cabin that is very comfortable. We hope to come back in the summer as it’s so close to the city but you certainly feel like you are at the lake.

Beautiful cottage with a stunning view. Open concept layout. Perfect for families

We had a amazing time at tommys cottage. The place had a beautiful layout with a stunning sunset and sunrise view. The cottage had everything we needed. And it was only 1 hour away from Toronto! The bedrooms were a good size, and the beds were comfortable. Going to stay here again !

Breathtaking views from bedrooms, deck, and living room.

The place was an amazing getaway from our bustling city life. The 3 bedrooms upstairs had an amazing view of the lake and I Would definitely recommend families, friends, and couples to take a break from work by staying at their place! Breathtaking view from the deck and living room also. Place was very clean and had everything you needed. I've already recommended my friends and family to stay here. Tommy was also a great host and highly responsive. This is definately a must stay place!

Cute little cottage with a beautiful view. Everything you need here!

Tommy was a great host - it was easy to communicate with him and he responded promptly. He was very helpful at all times and accommodated to all our needs. My family and I enjoyed our stay at his cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, cozy and fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful cottage only 1 hour from Toronto. Home away from Home

Tommy is a great host. His property looks amazing and it was better than I expected. Huge parking lot, very clean and spacious rooms. The house has a great view of the Lake, especially sunrise and sunset - You dont want to miss it! Communication wise, Tommy is amazing. You send him a message and he will reply in no time. He answered our concerns and we didn't feel like we were alone. Activities, I love fishing and his place a good place, kayak and canoe are also available. I highly recommend it for anyone, especially summer - winter is fine as well. Thanks Tommy!

Open concept layout. Beautiful sunset. Absolutely stunning view. Everything you need

Tommy’s was a nice time place to get together with a number of people. The common space is large and we all really enjoyed having big meals together and having the room to play games when the weather wasn’t great. The deck and view are amazing. If you’re looking for a place to swim, this isn’t the best place but to just hangout and relax it’s great. The bedrooms and washrooms were well kept and clean.

Vacation on Lake Scugog

We loved everything about this property. From cleanliness to furnishing. The property was well equipped with bathroom toiletries, paper towels, linens, kitchen utensils and more. We would definitely stay here again. Tommy was an excellent host.

Amazing cottage to stay for a weekend

Our experience in Tommy's place was great, the house is really nice, the view is amazing. However the garden needed some cleaning (cigarette butts, beer cans, plastic cups and even a broken glass...). Tommy told me that he's getting the cottage ready for summer time, I bet it will be neat for next occupants.

Charming cottage furnished to a great standard. Our home can make for a perfect lakeside retreat. Offering the privacy you need, a wonderful cozy design and a close location to Toronto. Surround yourself in an earthy environment. Settle in by zoning out. We believe it’s the ultimate location to experience Lake Scugog the way it should be. Guaranteed enjoyment and relaxation.

-Only 1 hour from Toronto
-6 bedrooms and 12 beds
-Big deck to have a BBQ and lounge
-On 1 acre of land, lots of privacy

*****This is a FAMILY oriented cottage. There are NO parties allowed and NO loud noises outside after 10pm. We do not accept bookings of friends only. ONLY family bookings are allowed. We need to respect the neighbors. Failure to do so will result in eviction of the property with NO refund and possibly the police being called to the property*****

This property is amazing all year round for a visit to Lake Scugog. Our waterfront cottage is located 1 hour from Toronto. It’s a 30 minute drive to Lake ski resort, 20
minutes to Great Blue Heron Casino and 15 minutes to downtown Port Perry.

Lake Scugog is a popular location for fishing enthusiasts and boaters. It is one of the closest access points to the Trent Severn Waterway in the GTA. The Township of Scugog has a number of boat launches and marinas. Lake Scugog is also a great location to paddle board. Port Perry Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) offers paddle boarding lessons, as well as board rentals and sales. The Beacon Marina in Caesarea offers sailing lessons and is home to the Lake Scugog Sailing Club. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the Township of Scugog designed for amateur and professional golfers.

Loads to do for all tastes, from outdoors adventures for explorers to total isolation for those who prefer the homely and the comfy!
