Cedar Creek Lake is the 5th largest lake in Texas. Excellent fishing, boating, 4th of July Air Show, and lots of shops including First Monday Canton Trade Days just 25 minutes away. We are close to town so you won't need to drive 30-45 minutes around the lake if you forgot something.

The Tiki Hut at the marina and Vernon's are popular waterfront restaurants accessible by boat. Our location is just a few minutes to Walmart, Brookshire's and local restaurants.

Beyond the property, Gun Barrel City and the surrounding areas offer a variety of activities and attractions. Guests can visit Tom Finley Park for additional lake access and scenic picnic spots, or explore local dining at popular lakeside restaurants. Cedar Creek Brewery provides craft beer tastings in a laid-back atmosphere, while Purtis Creek State Park is ideal for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. For a unique shopping experience, Big Daddy’s Flea Market showcases local artisans and hidden treasures. Those seeking a change of pace can take a day trip to Dallas, just over an hour away, where world-class dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences await.

Inside, the vast open-concept living space stretches over 40 feet wide, ensuring that even larger groups feel at ease. The updated kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a built-in ice machine, a well-stocked wine rack, and a dedicated coffee bar, making every gathering effortless. With two full-sized refrigerators and an oversized pantry, there’s no shortage of storage for extended stays. Designed with a welcoming, beach-house ambiance, the home offers both comfort and sophistication, making it an ideal setting for cherished moments with family and friends.

For those seeking adventure, the private two-story boat dock serves as a hub for fishing, sunbathing, or simply taking in the panoramic lake views. A 22-foot Tritoon boat is available for rent, allowing guests to explore the expansive waters of Cedar Creek Lake at their leisure. The home’s Cantina provides an enclosed entertainment space, complete with ping pong, darts, cornhole, and a dual mini-basketball setup, ensuring fun for all ages. Whether setting out for a day on the water, enjoying a sunset from the dock, or gathering in the Cantina for friendly competition, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of this lakefront haven.

The downstairs living space spans over 40 feet wide so you will never feel cramped even with a large group. The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes and even a coffee bar (so bring your favorite K cups). There is no need to run to the store since the built in ice machine produces lots of ice per day. There is a full size refrigerator stocked with your basic condiments, ground coffee, and a wine rack which includes your first bottle complimentary with your stay. You will find a large pantry to store all your groceries. There is also an extra full size fridge for extra storage of groceries during your stay.

The second floor includes a large master with a remote control fireplace and a spacious bathroom suite. There is a king bed, a cozy nook by the fireplace and two pull out twin sleeper ottomans for extra family members. There are also two other private bedrooms and a full bath on the second story.

On the third floor you will find a giant loft area with sleeping for 14, a flat screen smart TV and games. There is also a screened in porch off of the 3rd floor perfect for watching all the lakeside activities . Sleeping arrangements include 3 queen pull out Ashley sofa sleepers on the third floor and 2 twin beds in addition to the two bunk beds with queen beds on bottom and an XL twin on top of each. Every bed has Simmons Plush Top mattresses with sheets and bedding provided. This property accommodates a max of 24 in beds/pullouts.

The private boat dock is yours for enjoyment during your stay. There is one boat slip that holds up to a 22 foot boat fully covered and one jet ski slip with lifts if you bring or rent watercraft. Please let us know if you are bringing a boat and need the lift. We will do our best to accommodate if we have time and room to move our boat out for you. There are mooring whips and boat cleats for you to tie onto at the dock. The over sized upstairs dock area with string lights is another wonderful place to enjoy the panoramic views during your stay. We have just installed stairs with a handrail from the dock to the water to make getting in and out of the lake easy for people of all ages without having to climb a narrow slippery ladder.

There is also an industrial sized volleyball net with lots of room to play regulation court size volleyball matches. We have a paddle board and 2 kayaks on site that can all be rented for a nominal charge during your stay.

READ CAREFULLY IF THE MAJORITY OF YOUR GROUP IS UNDER 30....This is a family friendly area and these rules will be strictly enforced! Booking with the intent to “supervise or chaperone” teen/college events is prohibited.

This home is available for rent with the intent of vacations, family reunions, scouting retreats, church events. If your intent is to have a wild or loud party we ask that you book elsewhere. No teenage/college parties (after prom/formal/graduation, sorority/frat parties) allowed. Please do not instant book or rent on behalf of high schoolers or college kids. Refunds will NOT be given and you may be removed from the property if there is evidence or complaints by the neighbors this is going on. No underage drinking or drugs permitted. If your group requires beer bongs and beer pong to have a good time then this is NOT the place for you and we kindly ask you to consider another venue. This is our home and we want guest that will treat it as they would their own. We are NOT a wedding venue, so do not try to book our home with this intent.



Our home is about a one hour drive from DFW so this is a perfect getaway spot. We have a covered boat slip and jet ski slip for your watercraft so you can easily access the water right from our private dock. Please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing any watercraft so we can tell you where to launch and if possible we can make our slips available to you. We rotate our own watercraft between our rentals so covered space may or may not be available.
