Welcome to this Old Charm Craftsman-style home located in a historic neighborhood in Downtown Riverside, a few blocks walking distance to the famous Mission Inn, a historical landmark hotel. Lots of history in the area. This home is for those guests who prefer an elegant stay or have a special someone they would like to impress. For those wishing to celebrate a special occasion (ie wedding, baby shower, parents visiting, etc), you are in the right place. Home Sweet Home!

As you walk into this 2 story gem, you will walk into the foyer of this home with a beautiful chandelier and access to the living room and another entrance to the dining room. This historic charm has an open floor plan with high ceilings, new wood floors tall living room windows that give it the old southern feel.

As you walk into the living room you will notice the chandelier above the table and a feeling of wanting to entertain family and friends. Enjoy your mornings on our breakfast area island adjacent to the beautifully decorated large kitchen with brand new cabinets and quartz to keep those family/friends gatherings going.

Each bedroom has its own individual air conditioning unit to keep you nice and cool during these hot summer days.

Nice older house near downtown Riverside

A comfortable old house with four beds and a couch. Tall people be careful on the stairs. Jacuzzi is a nice touch. Nice kitchen, family area, and dining table.

The house is large and is perfect for a large group with four separate bedrooms. It's also walking distance to downtown and the convention center, which is VERY convenient. Overall the place was clean, but some parts were a little worn down looking. It's definitely an older house that's been given some make up to be more appealing (such as lots of layers of paint). Still, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was modern and had all the necessary conveniences, and there was plenty of room to spread out. One upstairs bedroom is considerably smaller than the rest, but was still a comfortable place to sleep. The house did have a musty/wet dog smell that seemed to be worse when running the window air conditioners. While not the fanciest neighborhood, we did feel safe and had no concerns walking back and forth to the convention center. The palm trees up and down the block were pretty cool as well as the fruit trees in the neighbors' yards.

close to downtown Riverside & Mission Inn

The house is old, but charming. We walked down 6th street right to the Mission Inn, which was convenient. Outdoor space is charming as well. Farmer's Market in Riverside was amazing! I would recommend Missy's place if you're there to hang out in downtown Riverside for sure!

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. We had 8 adults and the spacious floor plan with a complete kitchen, bathroom amenities were top rated. 10 out of 10 great. Location was easy to access, we all felt safe. We will recommend and use this home again for our family and friends.

UC Riverside Graduation

9 family members gathered for 3 nights from across the nation to celebrate the youngest sibling. The house accommodated everyone nicely with great outdoor spaces as well. Kitchen was lacking a few items for cooking but we managed. Visit the the Mission Inn while there! Worth seeing!

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this property. As others have mentioned, it is a very clean property with all of the important household items. We did sleep on the new mattress downstairs and found it to be lovely. We took several walks to the Mission Inn area to look at all the holiday lights. Very beautiful if you decide to go. The house has lots of character and fit our group of 7 quite well. It was a great price and a great location!

Family Trip

There were four of us. My sister, her husband, my husband and myself. We loved the location. The home was clean and the owner responded to questions quickly. I would recommend this home. We did a couple day trips and a couple meals at the Mission Inn. This is the third time we’ve traveled to California together. This is the first time we stayed at this home. We would definitely stay here again.
