Semi-troglodyte cottage located in the heart of the Valley of the Kings, 5 minutes from Amboise (Nazelles-Négron, a small wine town with several troglodyte houses and private castles).

On the ground floor, kitchen, bathroom, living room, alcove with sofa bed, master bedroom (bed 160) and WC. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (1 with a 140 and the other with 2 single beds), a separate bathroom + toilet.

Facilities: Induction hob, microwave, pyrolysis oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, TV, BBQ and WIFI available.

The exterior consists of a high terrace with a 180 ° view over the Loire Valley and a large garden with espaliered trees, all facing south.

Possibility to park your car in a garage located 30m below the house.
Access to the house is by climbing a small hill since it is attached to the hill.

Great House

A bit of a climb but worth the view! The house is cool when we were there early summer. Plenty of room and all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend!

A spacious and characterful home in a unique setting, very well equipped with everything you need for a family holiday. Pretty bedrooms and excellent modern bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and a bathroom (with an amazing view!) are on the upper floor and are accessible via a small spiral staircase. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Lovely views from the garden terrace. An excellent base for visiting many chateaus and local attractions.

We had a wonderful time in this amazing big house. The view was priceless, and the host was very welcoming. The house was well equipped and had everything one might need and more. The short steep hill was not bad to walk since we only had one suitcase. The location was also perfect for us. We highly recommend staying here.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Nazelles-Négron, dans une maison très originale et très bien située. Idéale pour accéder facilement aux plus beaux châteaux de la Loire (même s'il est difficile de faire un classement).Tout est conforme au descriptif.Certes, la pente est rude pour accéder au gîte, mais la récompense est de taille : une vue incroyable sur le château royal d'Amboise avec (cerise sur le gâteau), un envol de montgolfières quasiment chaque soir.Nous avons été très bien accueillis : merci beaucoup, Christèle !Nous n'étions que 4 : nous avions donc beaucoup d'espace. Nous n'avons pas eu de souci avec les ustensiles de cuisine, en nombre suffisant (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas...).Le jardin est plein de surprises, avec ses coins, ses recoins et ses niveaux.Location à recommander.

Point négatif : de nombreuses fourmis dans la cuisine pendant plusieurs jours et dans le lave-vaisselle pendant tout le séjour. Les propriétaires ont mis à disposition, renouvelée en se déplaçant, les produits et pièges nécessaires. Le positif : emplacement très calme, très bonne literie, bon équipement électroménager, propre (même si les fourmis…), superbe terrasse très agréable avec vue notamment sur le château d’Amboise au loin, propriétaires accueillants. Beautiful and spacious house. Excellent communication. Great central place to visit the Loire. The garden was a nice surprise, with a great view just a short hike/walk up the property. We enjoyed peaceful eating outdoors too!
