Perfect Location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The location was terrific to get to the restaurants and stores. The complex was peaceful and the pool sparkling. We were able to find good swimming in the sea just across the street to the left. This is a great area to walk and explore.

Perfect location

Very comfortable house, the grounds are beautiful with all the trees. The pool is very nice. It's at walking distance of everything near the center but very quiet. All our questions were answered rapidly. It was everything we wanted for our stay.

Cleans and beautiful apartment

Great locations and clean pace. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Stair could use handrail for extra safety. Pool area beautiful, clean and calm at all times. Great stay! Don’t forget you do have to pay electricity.

Peaceful

It rained most days of my stay. But sitting on the balcony with the view of palm trees and ocean in the background was enough for me. The distant sound of bachata from the mosquito bar was a nice way to cap the evening before bed. I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is very convenient to the beach, many reteraunts, and a couple of good supermarkets. The apartment was comfortable ad the complex has two pools for the days that were a bit too windy to enjoy the beach. The apartment was well equipped for our 4 week stay, we arrived to find a variety of fruit, several bottles of drinking water available, and the kitchen had a good assortment of pots, pans, and utensils. We generally avoid properties that are managed by a company, but on occasion we do find ourselves booking one. In general we find managed properties to lack a personal touch, but this was an exception. The management company communicated well, provided weekly light cleaning, and seemed generally concerned with our comfort. There were a few negatives, mainly related to property maintenance, the shower in the smaller bedroom could use a new wand (or a good cleaning) and the mount on the wall to hold the wand was broken, it generally held but fell a couple of times during our stay. The second item is the screens on the sliding doors, all of them have torn or pulled free from the edge, allowing bugs to enter through the gaps. The other item is one the owner/managment company really has no control over, but does have an effect on the stay. There are several families that live in the complex and the kids view the entire space as there own, we had to ask them multiple times to play somewhere else as they were right outside making noise.

Dated but quiet property

The property is a bit dated... In particular pool area but this is definitely the best unit in the building. Needs some maintenance with, outdoor furniture, light bulbs and water filter for the sulfer content. The area is packed with scooters but you couldn't hear them when in the complex which was a relief and a very quiet stay

Best regards Lisa, thank you very much for taking the time to rate our service and post how your stay was in one of our properties, we changed the outdoor furniture on April 20. I am not quit sure what you meant about the light bulbs, all of them are properly working, and about the water filters, we have 2 employees in charge of checking and change them prior each booking. We have more than 8 years managing that property, we have never had a problem due to water and filters before your arrival. However, I hope you enjoyed your stay in Las Terrenas! Wonderful

We loved this condo and Las Terranas. Marie-Helene replied quickly to any questions. We had a small issue with the washing machine but Dorian quickly had it repaired. The 2 pools were really nice. Very nice BBQ. We would suggest newer furniture on the roof terreace but outside of that our month long stay was wonderful.Highly recommend.

WONDERFUL

This is an absolutely wonderful two bedroom condo spread over three-floors, the top floor being a lovely covered rooftop terrace with a water view. We rented this condo for three months and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The condo is across the street from the beach and Pueblo de los Pescaderos, a strip of about 12 beachfront restaurants. As others have noted, the condo is a short 5 minute walk to the main street, calle Duarte, and about a 15 minute walk to the first of 2 grocery stores in town. The Don Caesar complex has 100 units but during our three month stay generally less than half of the units were rented at any one time. The complex is wonderfully quiet and the grounds are well maintained. There are 2 pools, and many days we were the only ones using the pools. Upon arrival at the condo all the basic necessities were provided including paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc., as well as a lovely bowl of fresh fruit - thank you Marie-Helene! The condo has been renovated and is very well equipped. The fridge is a decent size and there is a ceramic stovetop, though there is no oven. However, a toaster oven and a BBQ were provided. All the kitchen and dining supplies appear new, including new pots, utensils, glasses, dishes, and cutlery. The only items missing were a vegetable peeler and a couple of casserole dishes for use in the microwave and toaster oven. There is a washing machine, plenty of closet space, and each bedroom has an ensuite shower. Housekeeping do a very good job. TV programming is through a streaming service, but given how slow the download speeds are, TV reception is unreliable. Our favorite place in the condo was the rooftop terrace where we would spent hours each evening reading and listening to music as we watched the stars come out - absolutely wonderful!! A couple of suggestions: 1. bring a portable music source and speaker so you can listen to music on the rooftop terrace 2. Boulangerie Francais has the best croissants in Las Terrenas, which we enjoyed most mornings with a cup of coffee on the ground floor patio.

Formidable!

Grande appartement confortable, les piscines son très spacieuse et peux achalandé. Le site est tranquille et l'emplacement est excellent pour la plage et l'épicerie. Les hôtes nous ont offert un service d'accompagnements pour nos visiteur de l'aéroport à la residence toujours a l'heure et confo. Merci pour se magnifique séjour je recommande se panthouse!!

Buen apartamento

Apartado del ruido, puedes ir caminando al centro del pueblo y a la playa. La atención a la recepción fue inmejorable, aunque tuvimos un problema con el tendedero lo solucionaron enseguida. Necesita algunas mejoras, como la puerta de la azotea que no cierra en condiciones, pero cumple su función perfectamente y está muy bien equipado.

Près de tout.

Cet appartement est très grande, les 2 balcons et la terrasse sur le toit, génial. Le site est propre et plein de beaux arbres et fleurs. Les 2 piscines très bien entretenus. La plage est littéralement en face du site de l'autre côté de la rue. Nous voyons la mer de la terrasse du toit.

Loved the pool and close access to town

Terribly dangerous staircase. Very steep. NO RAILING!!!! The pictures on Vrbo show a small railing in the living room but it does not extend up to the roof deck.
