Good location across from the beach. Private parking available with security. I traveled with 3 teenage boys so the pool was their go to every morning. Will go back again, apt was a perfect size for us with enough amenities.

Simply Stunning!!!

We left with a case of serious vacation depression and would go back tomorrow! We cannot say enough about this property! The breathtaking views, the attentiveness of Olimpia and the condo itself was clean and comfortable. It's is right, and i mean right, across from the ocean. There are tons of places to eat a short walk in either direction on the beach (i swear we ate at all of them and they were all delicious) and the staff at each were very helpful (especially with myself and my husband's limited knowledge of Spanish). I highly recommend a translator app on your phone! Travelers beware of the driving here! It can be intimidating and a little scary. The streets are small and there are mopeds bobbing and weaving through traffic everywhere! It didn't deter us though!!! We drove to El Limon waterfall, the grocery store and other beaches in the area. The shop owners in town are helpful and courteous. If you like art there is a shop owner that does beautiful work in town. You will see all of the art hanging in a second story window and you will have to walk up a set of cement stairs to get in. The husband and wife were AMAZING and were so happy we purchased from them. HIGHLY recommend if that's your thing. We also recommend Adventure Runners for an excursion for zip lining and monkey land, it was amazing! Thank you Michael for letting us rent your amazing property (not sure how you tear yourself away to rent it out, lol) and thank you Olympia for your attentiveness!

Excellent condo and location

Well located and well equipped. Everything you need for a great stay in las terrenas. Town was about a 10-15 minute walk but other restaurants, bars, and beach clubs were right across the street.Great views and a wonderful patio to enjoy them from.

Magnifique emplacement face mer - tout à pied

Un très beau 10 jours avec ma mère et mon conjoint dans ce très beau condo où tout se fait à pied. Merci à Olympia qui a su tout coordonner pour nous, incluant le transport de l'aéroport. C'est un des plus beau condo privé du quartier. Et que dire de la magnifique piscine et du jardin !... Elle fait des jaloux dans le quartier. L'eau est très propre et la piscine est entretenue tous les jours. La plage est juste en face et magnifique, avec plein de cocotiers, et on peut marcher plus de 2km vers la gauche - qui se prolonge jusqu'à très belle plage de Las Ballenas d'un côté - ou plus de 1km vers la droite en direction du Pueblo (village). Si vous planifiez une petite épicerie de départ au centre du village, vous pouvez gérer vos petits-déjeuners et lunchs au condo et tous les soirs sortir dans une des restos à pied, par la plage. Il y a vraiment tout le nécessaire et tout confort dans le condo. Merci !

The property was amazing, felt very at home. Everything is walkable for the average persons ability if you should choose. Taxi is available if needed. We walked a lot. Communication with the property if needed is always there. Speaking some Spanish helps. All that you need for basics is provided. We will be returning.

This condo is gorgeous!

My son and I stayed here for six days in early April and loved it! Spacious, well appointed and you can hear the ocean from the kitchen! Nice deck overlooks the pool. Mini market 500 yards away for essentials and nice bars and restaurants close by too. I have no hesitation in recommending this property - Michael the owner was prompt and detailed and gracious in his responses. The condo truly felt like home for our stay - it was bigger than we expected and the decor is lovely.

Just steps from the most amazing beaches ever…

The unit was in excellent condition with everything we needed on site. Large bedrooms, bathrooms and living area with a giant deck overlooking the pool and ocean front. Definitely recommend renting a quad or scooter for the stay as it made running around easy and fun. I am a frequent traveler to many beaches and islands, but the white sand beaches and bath-like warm water were by far the best I have ever experienced. Mike and Olimpia (PM) were always available if we needed them and were very helpful with recommendations during our stay. I have nothing bad to report and highly recommend renting this unit to anyone that is looking for a trip to paradise! We will definitely be back with friends and family.

Paradise !!!

Amazing in the Paradise. We really enjoyed our stay! There are several beach bars/restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this condominium. This is the full experience of relaxation, this home allows you to sit back, relax, and listen to the ocean wave while eating a delicious meal. It came with all of the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and the view from our balcony and its view was incredible! mornings meditation was my favorite We enjoyed all of the restaurants within walking distance and the nightlife was the best. The check-in and check process was seamless, and the apartment was clean, safe, and very well-equipped. The Internet connection was strong and consistent. The rooms were clean. High-end décor that transports you to the most high-end loyalty experience. Regardless of whether you seeking fun, relaxation; or a family-oriented place to entertain, study, or meditation retreat this place will meet all your needs. Olimpia , was amazing.

A Beautiful & Relaxing Stay

A good friend recommended Las Terranas as I was visiting him in Santo Domingo. He knew I wanted something that wasn't just full of typical tourist. This was the place!!!!! The property listing doesn't really in my opinion do the condo justice. It is so difficult to understand from the pictures you are just feet stepping off the property grounds, crossing a brick paver road onto the beach. This condo is a small building, but very extremely nice. The unit is very updated and clean. We were able to cook breakfast as we want as we had all the things necessary in the kitchen. The local beaches are just so beautiful and relaxing. You must visit Coson Beach as well as it was recommended by the property ower. The property manager accommodated us with a slightly earlier check in. It was very easy obtaining the code, and the unit was ready to provide us with very nice accomodations. This is an area I will definitely be visiting again. It was about 2- 21/2 hour drive from Santo Domingo which was a beautiful drive. It was my first vactions where I stayed at 2 different Vrbo locations, and I was pleased. The ower of the property is very nice and always responsive to any questions.

Fantastic Condo

We stayed here with our daughter and her two children. The condo was extremely comfortable, AC and fans in all the right places for my husband, great pool for the kids, well appointed kitchen for me and proximity to Playa Bonita and town for all of us. Well decorated, clean and everything works very well. Would definitely recommend!

Great Oceanfront Location!

This property is great! Just like the description, apart from it being on a busy street, offered so many other amenities that it was rather easy to overlook. The apartment itself was perfect for our party of four, with a wonderful balcony - with dining table and lounge chairs - which made for a relaxing time. And the pool and hot tub were right below - beautifully and spotlessly maintained I might add! The securely gated parking area was a nice feature. The beach was literally across the street, less than 100 feet from the pool! The many beachfront restaurants were within easy walking distance, so we didn’t need to move our car except to sightsee. The apartment showed that the owner takes great pride in cleanliness and ensuring their guests have access to everything. We could have made any gourmet meal with the fully-equipped kitchen. Even the “junk drawer” was organized and contained anything and everything guests might need. The owner has literally thought of everything! Olimpia (manager) and Jonathan (maintenance) were in contact, throughout our stay, making sure everything was perfect for us! We would stay at this property again, without hesitation and have already recommended it to family members living in DR and in the States.

We live in the United States and discovered Las Terrenas for ourselves in early 2012. I absolutely had to see LT for myself after reading this enchanting Caribbean Travel article . . .

A month or so later, we fell in love with LT almost the moment we crossed over the mountain range and saw the region's stunning natural beauty: miles and miles of pristine beaches, extremely lush palm forests and the deep blue Caribbean Sea. Incredible! Once in town, we were drawn to the cosmopolitan beach scene. TOP quality restaurants, french bakeries, cafes and countless beach bar options of all levels of sophistication. Also, it is great to have the option to take a bite out of a great nightlife scene on any given evening. Great discos, Nightclubs, Lounges (Mosquito, Mojitos are just the start) and even the venerable Bodega promise much fun and memories!

After months of scouring and searching various places and locations with my outstanding realtor, it all came together perfectly when we saw Ventanas al Mar. The place is beautiful and the location could not be better.

I don't know why LT is still largely a secret in the US. I have a feeling with their new highway and international airport, LT and the surrounding Samana peninsula is poised to become a major vacation destination.

Olimpia is the house manager and can help you get settled upon your arrival. Rafael can help you will luggage, drink water, small errands, setting up beach chairs and with any requests you have round the property.

Restaurants - Too many to name but easily over 25 featuring some of the best Italian, French, German, Swiss and local foods. (We have traveled throughout Europe and feel the dining experiences and atmosphere throughout LT are some of the best).

Affordability: The Dominican Republic represents an outstanding value for vacationers. We never felt anything was unreasonably priced, ever. Sometimes quite the opposite. It makes for a nice vacation when you feel you can splurge a little. One of the best indulgences we love is . . .

Vitality & Hospitality - The area boasts a tremendous mix of Italians, Germans, Swiss, French, Canadian and of course the great locals. Together it makes for a very vibrant, warm and welcoming area all along the beach scene.

As you should get your reservation set for you stay here, we will be happy to pull together more thoughts to complete your stay. Some guests like to reserve nice little comforts like a regular cleaner or an in-home cook and even personal trainer (E.g. Yoga on the Terrace overlooking the beach, etc.). All that can be easily reserved for you ahead of time, all at very reasonable prices.
