Perfect practical apartment - excellent value

Perfect for taking my 16 year old son and 3 of his classmates for a skiing holiday less than half the price of his school trip last year.The kitchen is very well equipped with a full size cooker so cooking meals for 5 was easy. As a bonus, there's a fondue machine, raclette machine and a pierrade hot stone machine so we could experience Savoyard specialities.The sleeping was a little tight for 5 of us but we organised so that the early risers were on the fold up bed and the pull out sofa bed so once these were put away there was enough room for everyone. The apartment is about a mile out of town so having a car helps for fetching the baguettes and croissant in the morning but the shuttle buses worked really well and were very frequent and reliable.Host was very kind and reasonable and responded to all questions very promptly.

Great value, clean, well equipped and comfortable appartment

Perfect as a base for skiiing Morzine and Avoriaz. Excellent value and had everything we needed to self-cater for five people. Not much spare space with five occupants but well equipped, practical and comfortable and allowed us to cook, eat together and relax after full days of skiing. Host was very helpful and communications clear. Great holiday, many thanks.

Lovely homely flat with an amazing view

The flat was a perfect fit for what we needed. It’s a very homely flat with wood surrounding you and a huge window that looks out onto the mountains that you can see from the bed. Shutters can be used to keep the light out but it was perfect to open up the shutters every morning and sit in bed with a coffee and admire the view. Only 2 of us stayed there, so we had plenty of room. As is normal with any flat near a ski resort, you would probably be very short for space if you filled it with people at maximum capacity, but there was plenty of space for us. Location was great for the price, but you’ve got to be willing to get a bus to the slopes (it’s free and runs regularly). Either that or it’s a 15 minute walk into morzine. You’ve also got the option of a beautiful riverside walk into morzine that runs from right next to the flat. It takes slightly longer but is well worth the extra effort. The flat was filled with everything you’d need including a bathtub, a powerful wide headed shower and really warm radiators for the winter. We didn’t use the balcony much as it was winter when we came, but looks like a great place for the summer. Kitchen was great and even had some extra kitchen gadgets like a filter coffee machine, toasty maker, fondue machines and a hot plate that could make for some interesting meals. There was a tv if you wanted to use it and it also looked like there was some books and toys for kids to use if you were bringing young children. Overall a great experience. Did have a bit of trouble finding the flat as the details were located on the contract and not on the Vrbo app, but a very minor point. The owner is very nice and quick to respond to any issues. Massively recommended.

Fantastic apartment

We loved this apartment. Clean and spacious for 2 people. Kitchen had every thing we needed for cooking in most evenings (though figuring out how to work the oven was a problem). Just a 10 minute walk into morzine and Hubert’s ski hire have lockers for ski’s so no having to walk up the road with boots and ski’s. The bed was very comfy and the apartment was super clean, warm and comfy. It took us an hour to find the right apartment in the 3 blocks as we didn’t have the information on which block to go into. The address is B but the block was C. We would definitely go back to the same apartment again, thanks.

Great wee apartment and exceptional value

Great studio apartment perfectly placed for snowsports in the Porte De Soleil area. Bus stop just a few minutes from the apartment or a 10-15 min walk into the centre of Morzine. Good, functional studio apartment with balcony in a very convenient location for the Morzine ski slopes. Stayed with my partner and it was the perfect size for 2 although there is a pull out sofa bed and 2 extra fold-up beds if your group is bigger. Kitchen had everything we needed with a good halogen hob cooker and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, raclette cooker, fondue set and hotplate too. The only thing lacking was towels but to be fair I forgot to check in advance as to whether they were supplied so this was easily fixed by a trip to Carrefour in Morzine. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Good value and comfortable

A very nice apartment that we would be happy to recommend to others. It was clean and warm and fine for two people. It was a convenient location and there was good parking. It was a shame there was no Wi-Fi and a DVD player would have been nice as well as instructions on how to use the cooker and microwave. Overall very good.

Nice stay

The apartment is well traveled has all the bits and bobs you need in the kitchen, even though the kitchen is small, it works. Space for four people. Easy walk to the town center 20 minutes where you find ski/bicycle lifts and nightlife.

Parfait

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement. Le centre de Morzine se fait facilement a pied mais une navette passe juste a côté de l'appartement. L'appartement est très fonctionnel, nous étions 2 adultes, 3 enfants et un chien et nous nous sommes pas du tout senti a l'étroit. Le grand balcon abrité était très appréciable. Le propriétaire, disponible et très arrangeant. Un grand merci. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet appartement.

Logement parfait pour un court séjour, le nécessaire est à disposition. Il est bien situé et très pratique avec la navette qui passe juste à côté pour nous emmener aux remontées mécaniques ! La literie est confortable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Location décevante

A notre arrivée nous avons du contacter le propriétaire qui avait oublié de nous envoyer le code de la boite à clé. L'appartement était ok mais bien dans son jus, éclats de peinture pas toute jeune, cuisine très vieillote, nous nous en sommes contentés. La propreté était aussi toute relative mais en accord avec l'ensemble, nous n'avons pas récuré sous les équipements de la cuisine (miettes de pain sous un grille pain que nous n'avons pas utilisé - séjour de 3 nuits uniquement), ni sous la banquette où les précédents locataires avaient laissé des saletés... Mais après notre départ, appel du propriétaire réclamant des frais supplémentaires de nettoyage, car l'appartement était soi-disant sale ! Photos à la loupe des miette sous le grille pain, sous le rebord de la cuvette WC, poussières parterre ... Or, nous avions rendu l'appartement aussi propre que nous l'avions trouvé. Et comme, le propriétaire ne se déplace pas entre locataires, le tapis de bain sert à plusieurs locations d'affilée... Hygiène douteuse donc ! Nous avons donc été les bonnes poires (supplément de 50 € pour nettoyage fait uniquement si l'on se plaint à l'arrivée (dans les 24h) comme indiqué sur le contrat de location (comme nous l'a rappelé le propriétaire) ! Lisez donc bien le contrat !!! Aussi pour info, taille des draps de la banquette :uniquement lits 90 cm séparés, pas possibilité de grand lit comme indiqué par propriétaire.

The place was clean and a really nice view with the location. The apartment itself was quite tight and would probably be an issue if you have more than 3 people staying. Overall nice stay though.

Un court séjour a Morzine et montriond

Nous avions réservé car j'avais envie de revenir sur Morzine et faire une rando autour du lac de montriond... Cet appartement est idéal, très pratique avec nos 2 enfants.. nous étions proches de ces lieux.. le studio est pas très grand mais très fonctionnel,cosyet pratique, le balcon ne gâche rien. je recommande vivement... Merci a nos accueillants... La boîte à clé pour récupérer les clés quand on veut est idéale..
