Relaxing Tides - private dock, waterfront, perfect location

Relaxing Tides is located in Long Beach Island's best kept secret, High Bar Harbor. This family friendly peninsula is located off Barnegat Light, NJ. The over-sized property is located on a lagoon with 95 feet of water frontage, a floating dock for boats up to 40', and a deck by the water. Take advantage of all Barnegat Bay and Relaxing Tides has to offer: catch blue claws off the dock with the provided crab traps, fish for snappers in the lagoon with the kids, kayak in one of the 4 provided kayaks, explore, take a swim in the lagoon, relax on one of the decks with friends and family, take a bike ride on one of the provided bikes to the “Secret Beach”, the Barnegat Lighthouse, Viking Village, or just head to the beach a short distance away. Relaxing Tides is the best of all the Jersey Shore has to offer. Sleeping arrangements are one queen, one queen, and two sets of bunk beds for a total of sleeping 8. There is also a portable crib with mattress, and pack n' play.

Note hot tub in photos is not available to renters. Please also note contract is for max of 8 people to sleep at the house.

Hard to beat!

Great accommodations. Great views and location. Terrific sunset cruise despite the fact that there was no sunset that evening. Wonderful host.Lots of amenities for a variety of activities throughout the week!

5 stars - we loved this place

Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Outdoor spaces were great and we spent lots of time enjoying family fun on the upper deck in the quiet neighborhood. Check in and out was a breeze. Owner was very responsive to questions. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The rental came with everything you need for a vacation at the shore. We'll definitely be back.

Great place, great location

My wife and our 3 year old daughter stayed here for vacation just last week. Not only was it relaxing but the ability to just step out onto the deck overlooking the bay, feel the sea breeze and enjoy the ocean air was amazing. Our daughter loved swimming in the bay and the beach was only a short drive away to mix it up. Crabbing and kayaking were also a fun way to enjoy the time. We'd definitely stay again hands down. Great Stay

The raised ranch open floor plan was great for our family of four. One bedroom had two sets of bunk beds for larger families. There is a little bonus “game room” in the garage. The best part of the house was the dock and lagoon access, which made for hours entertainment. Paddling, crabbing, fishing and a garden full of tomatoes and cukes. The house came with beach chairs, scooters, bikes (beach cruisers)and a few usable kayaks. I would recommend bringing your own bike if your a serious biker. Bike riding on that nature full, quiet part of the island is lovely. The Lagoon leads to inlet, which leads to the bay but the current is quite strong on the return! We mostly stayed in the lagoon “fingers.” The house is close to Viking Village and restaurants. The owner is very communicative and helpful. Overall a great stay!

As Mother Nature flexed her muscles around the tri state region ….high bar was blissfully quite…..peaceful …just lovely ! Easy going vacation but with just enough to keep everyone happy ! Home was set up so comfortably! Enjoyed completely.

The best kind of shore experience

My daughter, her husband and two children stayed here with me. If you want to explore all there is at the shore this is the best way to do it. Swim off the dock - catch crabs - go fishing - sit on the beach etc. It has it all. It is easy to see that the owners love the place. They worked hard to make sure everything that might be needed or wanted was available. LOVED IT!!

We did it all...fishing, crabbing, swimming, biking, kayaking and relaxing...you will not be disappointed. Great stay. Great place. We will be back!
