Charming cottage in the heart of Burgundy climates

Right in the center of the village of Savigny-les-Beaune, this gîte is a former local grape picker which has just been completely restored. Work has been done to preserve the authenticity of the place and to have all the necessary comfort for a good stay. On the ground floor, a living room with an open kitchen barely separated by a workshop canopy. All on 33 M2 of burgundy stone. A superb oak staircase takes you upstairs where you have on the left, the bedroom and on the right, the S of B. The whole also on 33 M2. In the living room you have a sofa bed which can open into a double bed.

Beautiful property in a quiet village

This is a well maintained property with everything that you require including a very well equipped kitchen. The property is well situated in a peaceful village that has two restaurants within walking distance. We would strongly recommend this property as an excellent base for exploring this part of Burgundy. Thank you Michel and Carolyn for being such friendly hosts.

Great location for exploring the vin yards of Bourgogne

This is a lovely cottage in a great location. It is very well equipped and was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. The parking is not on site but in the village car park only a few minutes away. A TV would be a nice addition. Would certainly recommend the cottage .

Lovely cottage in beautiful location.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for a fortnight. Michel, Carolyn and their son Sam were lovely hosts. We enjoyed our stay in the very well equipped cottage. There is everything you”d need for self catering. It is a short drive to the beautiful town of Bourne, with many shops and restaurants. Ideal place to stay if you like cycling, touring the vineyards and cycle tracks along the canal. We would certainly recommend a stay at the cottage. My only one disappointment was it didn’t have a small garden to relax in at the end of the day, if our stay had been shorter that wouldn’t have been an issue.

The apartment was very cozy and very well equipped. Large free parking 100 meters from the apartment. Quiet and cozy little village. A place to really relax and enjoy life. 15 minutes drive from Baune. I will probably be back on a later occasion

Prachtig verblijf in mooie Bourgogne

Het huisje is door de eigenaars omgetoverd in een heerlijk vakantieverblijf. De combinatie van het moderne comfortabele interieur met de mooie oude kenmerken maken het een plek om naar terug te keren. Fijn het supermarktje en bakker op loopafstand zijn. Hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaars. Voor ons was dit verblijf de ideale uitvalsbasis voor onze fietstochten en bezoeken aan Dijon en Beaune. De ontdekking van de Mozesput in Dijon was het hoogtepunt van ons verblijf!

Perfect location for touring Burgundy

The property is outstanding. We had a great stay spending several nights in the quiet location. The bed was very comfortable. The location was easy to find and the check in with the owner was very easy. The kitchen is well organized and you can cook a variety of meals. Bathroom is spacious and the washer and dryer were a great asset. I highly recommend this property for a couple.

Cute cottage in Burgundy

The cottage was nicely renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom but maintaining its old charm. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There is a well equipped kitchen with gas oven and hob if you want to self cater. Close to Beaune and local vineyards.

We enjoyed the location and how this felt very much like a "farmhouse" feel. Easy access to town. All the needed supplies provided. Plenty of space. Host was easy to contact and always very responsive. They were also very helpful, offering tips and even gave us a bottle of wine. Much appreciated. We used out data for wifi (walls are super thick from the very old construction.. so wifi is spotty at times).
