Beautiful property and setting

Lovely location and property. Had everything we needed and Marianne was really flexible with Check In and Out. Palau Del Vidre was very quiet but close to coast/more choice of restaurants if you had car.

a perfect stay

Our stay at marianne's place was bliss. Not only was the property itself stunning with everything needed for a week away with friends, but as a host marriane was always on hand to answer any queries or provide restaurant recommendations. Honestly could not fault this stay! 10/10

Fabulous house with lots of space for the family. There are some areas that need updating or refreshing which if sorted would make it excellent. For example, showers that were hard to turn on, broken umbrellas around the pool, light fixtures not working.

Group family trip

Delightful stay in a home perfect for multiple families. Very comfortable and chic. Fabulous location very quiet but on the edges of a nice village and set within a vineyard and fruit producing estate, owner very welcoming and friendly but also gives enough space to enjoy the house to the full. Pitch perfect for us.

30th birthday with friends

There were some small issues with drains/pipes and hot water but the hosts responded promptly and were kind and accommodating. Would most definitely come again! A lot of the restaurants etc in the area were closed for the winter break because i came in the off season but it was still quite lovely and the views were incredible.

Superb house beautifully appointed in a great area

This property on a fruit and wine producing domaine is superb. Lots of space to provide privacy for everyone. Well equipped with lots of taste we spent a week en famille with 15 of us enjoying the pool, games room and kitchen! The domaine is quiet and yet one is fifteen minutes drive from the tourist towns and beaches of Collioure and Argelès-sur-Mer. Beautiful walking and hiking in the Alberes plus canonying to name just three activities we undertook. Marianne Jonqueres was a delightful host and available whenever we needed her. Highly recommended and would love to return.

Incredible! Wow

This property was amazing. Five stars! The house itself was stunning. Each room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. All the rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to easily navigate things. The house had it all!! The property and the land around it was so idyllic. It’s such a magical place. Marianne’s dog, Otago was such a sweetheart. He hung out at the property and kept our group company. Our group of 16 had a wonderful time. We loved this place. I know all of us would definitely recommend to anyone we know to stay here.

Amazing Converted Barn in Vineyards

Had a great week staying in this house for. A 70th birthday family gathering (8 adults 8 children) and was really well setup - the location is incredible, mountains in the distance and vineyards all around. Marianne gave great recommendations for croissants and restaurants to accommodate a large group. Also the main Chateaux (and local wine) is literally 1min walk away so make sure you stock up! There were a couple of small issues which Marianne sorted out pretty much straight away - a couple of small minor things would be that there is general wear and tear in the property (i.e. kitchen cupboards, BBQ and table tennis table) but this does not detract from what is a beautiful property. The surrounding area is great as well with beaches, villages and cites all worth a visit. Had a great stay.

Family Holiday

We stayed at the property for a week and overall impressed with it all. The owner was welcoming and the house beautiful with all equipment needed and all bedrooms of equal standard. A few areas to help improve our stay would’ve been a book with local restaurants, shops, activities etc which would’ve been very helpful. The pool steps need to be fixed as some of the tiles are loose and the pool needs to be cleaned more regularly. Air conditioning downstairs would really improve the experience in such hot weather! But we would recommend this property and would stay again! Thank you.

Great house for large group

We stayed here last week with a group of 7 adults and 8 child aged from 4-14.. house is perfect for large groups. As 5 separate families who go away each year it is hard to find a house that doesn’t have atleast one poor room.. this house has 7 and all of the bedrooms are like hotel rooms with en suite. 2 Of the rooms have mezzanine floors which sleep 2 children also so no problem for small children who need to be in same room. Location is great 15 mins from beach and 10 Mins from supermarket. The only minor downside is the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have aircon but this wasn’t a real issue and wouldn’t put us off coming again.lovely house . We will be back 👍👍

Marianne à été une hôte très à l'écoute, présente et arrangeante. Le gîte été incroyable, autant concernant la décoration, que les prestations fournis. De plus, le cadre est dépaysant et reposant, pas de vis-à-vis. Le gîte est très bien équipé, la literie été parfaite. Nous reviendrons.

Demeure familiale de rêve

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce domaine rénové avec goût et avec des matériaux brut de qualité. Les chambres spacieuses, équipées chacune d'un WC et d'une salle de bain privative, ont permis à chaque hôte d'être installé confortablement et de garder son intimité malgré le nombre de personne que nous étions. Les enfants ont pu profiter de l'espace extérieur, des chevaux à proximité et de la salle de jeux comprenant un baby-foot, une bibliothèque, un rétroprojecteur... Wunderschönes Haus, sehr stilvoll, liebevoll eingerichtet

Alle Zimmer sind gleichermaßen schön, was man selten vorfindet. Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt. Was man wissen sollte: auf der Koppel nebenan stehen Pferde, das könnte für Allergiker interessant sein. Stört aber sonst nicht im geringsten, sondern ist ganz schön.
