Welcome to your home away from home. This listing in central Tamarindo is a spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom/ 2 bath house with all new furnishings, private patio, shared pool, fully equipped kitchen, 1 king bed, 1 queen and a bunk bed for the family, to sleep 6 total. AC, Cable TV and wifi internet. The living room has a large sofa and loveseat, dining table, fully equipped kitchen with brand new refrigerator and gas stove, coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster oven, knives set etc. There is plenty of closet space in each bedroom. Casa Ela is very peaceful and private complex with only 4 homes that share a beautiful common area and pool. The house is the perfect space for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, great for couples and small families. The condo is close enough to downtown Tamarindo and the beach (just a 10 minute walk) that you do not need a vehicle. Renting electric golf carts, dune buggies, or bicycles is a fun activity and is a great way to ride around town and explore the area. The owner lives here full time and can help make arrangements for transportation, tours, car rentals, speaks fluent English and Spanish

This unit is in a good location. Short walk to restaurants and beach. The staff is very responsive to any needs. This was our second stay in that location and we have booked again for next year. Pura Vida

Great stay in Tamarindo

Great rental. Pictures don't do it justice. We highly recommend it. Note to future renters - we thought having a rental car was needed. We ended up turning it in early. You can easily walk into town.

Great Experience!

We had a great experience! The house was spacious, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with materials to cook. Great pool area and quiet setting. We had fresh filtered water and while it’s a little farther out of town than other places, the walk was totally manageable. 12min-15 to the beach if your a brisk walker. Jennifer was lovely to work with. Great communicator and quick to respond.

A gorgeous oasis with privacy and quiet - perfect for all ages

What a fantastic rental. The location was close enough to get downtown quickly but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The space truly is an oasis with beautiful tropical plants, privacy, and beautiful homes. Our kids loved the pool and the little kiddie pool. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom updates were nice. Jennifer was very responsive, kind, and helpful - and the entire staff - especially Raul - was welcoming and helpful. We got to see a family of howler monkeys walk across the fence two different mornings - a highlight of our time in Tamarindo. It was unusually rainy for our trip due to tropical storms but we made the most of it. You will love this space!

Truly Pura Vida!

The house is exactly as pictured. The property is tranquil and removed from the main strip of Tamarindo which was a nice end/beginning to each of days there. The pool was a nice bonus if you have children. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed it in the afternoons and even a night of after dark swimming! (The pool is lit). There is a security guard every night from 5p-5a which is nice to have but we didn’t feel is a necessity. The area feels very safe and the nature of the Costa Rican people as well as the host, Jennifer, is very friendly. The house comfortably slept all 4 of us with enough room to hang out without being on top of each other. I felt like our home away from home. I cannot say enough about our stay. It was truly amazing! Thank you so very much! We are already planning our next trip down!

Awesome place to stay

If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable and safe place to stay look no further than Casa Ela #4. This little hideaway, a ten minute walk from the Tamarindo strip is a great place for a family or couple. We were the first to stay in this unit following its renovations. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was lots of space for our family of five. Jennifer, the manager is a wealth of information and was always there for anything that we needed. This is one of four units in the small complex surrounding the central pool. We saw lots of local wildlife including howler monkeys who walked the fence around the complex and hung out in the neighboring trees. All amenities required are in the unit, plus there many good local restaurants to choose from, and shopping nearby. Renting bikes or a golf cart is recommended to easily get around the surrounding area. Groceries at the closest store are a little pricey, however there are other alternatives close by. We highly recommend this vrbo and plan to return.

Great spot!

First of all, the pics don’t do this place justice. The grounds are beautiful and the home itself was very clean and comfy. We had an issue with the stove not working, we messaged the owner and she responded right away. The maintenance guy came within 20min and was extremely friendly. He fixed the issue with no problems. The home has everything you need for a long stay (we stayed two weeks). We did visit during the rainy season so bring an umbrella, the home does not have one. It also didn’t have beach toys for kiddos but we bought some and left them there for future families. There are plenty of beach chairs and towels. It is walking distance to town, about 10min and about 15 to the beach. We rented a golf cart and got around easily with no problem. There is a security guard at night so that was an added bonus. We felt very safe at all times. The casita is further away from town but that was a plus for us, because it was nice and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants close by as well. Beds were very comfy and there were plenty of linens. The washer and dryer in the unit was also great to have. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place! Pura Vida!

Great family home!

We were at Casa Ela in March 2019. We were a family of four, my husband, two girls (4yrs and 8yrs), and myself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size. Lots of room and we felt quite at home. The decor was modern with lots of wood accents . The girls loved the bunk beds! There was a private outdoor dining area that we used regularly. Even at the hottest times of the day it was quite comfortable. Just off the patio was the pool. Nice size and well kept. The pool is shared with the other three homes on the property. The location is outside of the busy main street. We had a car and used it daily to go to the beach. With two small kids and all the beach toys, boogie boards, and a bag it was too far to walk. Especially in the heat of the day. The car worked out just fine. The car was also helpful to get groceries. There are grocery stores close by but the bigger and less expensive ones are a 10 minute car ride away. We cooked dinner every second night so it was worth the drive to load up and then you are set for a couple days. Jennifer (property manager) and her daughter Luna were also lovely to meet. Very helpful from making the reservation to check-out. Thank you! We would recommend this property!

The property surpasses expectations! The house was just right for our family of four. We had a few issues but Evelyn resolved them quickly. Just for your knowledge the shower in the master bathroom is low so you have to hold the nozzle over your head.

Great rental with good amenities

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Ela. The two bedroom unit is very well set up. It was recently remodelled and everything was new. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook your own meals. There was also a charcoal BBQ, which was a nice touch, although a propane unit would be handier. The overall property is beautiful. Lots of vegetation and the pool is excellent. Jennifer, who is the property manager was very friendly and easy to deal with. Having her live on the property was also very handy, as if anything was needed, she was easy to contact. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a secure beautiful place to stay in Tamarindo. It is far enough away from the busy part of town, so it is nice and quiet, but it is close enough to the beach and downtown that you can walk.
