Family Reunion

Excellent location on Lake Norman and in the surrounding community. Open views of the lake yet perfect area for swimming off the dock. Accommodations worked well for our family reunion.

The Best Weekend

This was a much needed get away! The property was just as described and very relaxing. We rented a boat and jet ski from Lake Effects. Perfect Location and the neighbors were very nice.

The property was fabulous it had all the amenities we needed and more. The view was phenomenal.

Everyone had a great time we were provided with everything we needed. The view was great and everyone enjoyed sitting around the fire pit talking and laughing. He will definitely return to this property for another family event in the near future.

The property is in a quiet wooded area with a phenomenal view of the lake. The location is tucked inside a neighborhood and a little further away, but if you are seeking a peaceful and spacious home, this is your place.

Great property

This was a wonderful place for a family gathering. The location was perfect. The owners were very responsive when we had a problem with the wifi. (The amp had just become unplugged.) We hope to stay at this property in the future.

Beautiful lake view

The view of the lake was peaceful and excellent, the house does need some updating, the property manager never responded to my messages at a time where i was little confused about certain things and i had simple questions, but overall it was a great experience and the family had a wonderful time getting together for Christmas, thank for offering your property for rent, it was pleasant.

We had a great week at Lake Norman. Having a launch right on property made getting the boat in the water easy. There is a beautifully landscaped yard with plenty of trees for shade. The house had lots of room for everyone. The Martin's are wonderful hosts!

Christmas

This had all we needed. My kids wanted to spend their Christmas with my parents aa wwll as each other. We were able to do thar. There waa ample room for everyone and the view waa lovely even with the rain. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful Location, Comfortable Stay

This home met all our needs including parents, grandparents and children. Although it rained for most of our stay, the house and grounds are well maintained and attractive. The zoned heating/cooling, downstairs vs. upstairs, was appreciated. Our only suggestion is to adjust the scald guard setting on the downstairs master bedroom bathroom shower faucet to allow for warmer water shower.

Comfortable Property

We enjoyed our girl's weekend away at this property. The family room is very large and the furniture is comfortable. The beds are comfortable. The only weird part is the two single beds are located in an open area upstairs. That was no problem for us but could be an issue for others. The kitchen was well stocked. However, it doesn't include all the extras that most of the places I stay have, such as toilet paper, little soaps, etc. Check-in and checkout were extremely easy. I would stay here again.

Stop what you’re doing and book this place!!

My friends and I rented this place for the weekend and my only complaint was that we had to leave. The property is stunning - lake views, calm quiet waters, friendly neighbors, massive fire pit. My only complaint was having to leave. The property manager is phenomenal — I’ve never rented from anyone who says to checkout whenever we’d like. We got to spend our last entire day on the lake instead of driving thanks to the property manager. Super responsive and easy to work with. We loved the room on top of the garage - it is the best room on the property! A hidden gem. This rental cannot be beat. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Thank you!!!!

McQueen stay

We very much enjoyed the location. Our only problems were that the outlet did not work in the downstairs guest bathroom, and also there was not a bathroom connected to the bonus room above the garage. We were going to use it for a bedroom, but there was no bathroom. The house upstairs bedrooms descriptions are not exactly accurate. The description makes it sound like the bathroom joins the two rooms. Actually, you have to go through the 2nd bedroom to reach the bathroom, which is on the end. But overall, the house was great.
